Posted .Thanks for the feedback! Our Entry Sensors (like our other components) should be able to link up with the Base up to 800ft away over open air. But real-world interference might reduce that a bit. We recommend keeping sensors within 400ft for best performance.
As for battery life - the Lithium batteries in the Entry Sensors should last between 3-5 years.
