This is a great little sensor that works well and can be used ANYWHERE! Windows, doors, garage doors, gun safes, you name it! You can make each sensor do different things, meaning, one could set the house alarm immediately, the others, such as a door, could have a 15 second delay, while another has a 30 second delay.

Sorry for the sarcastic summary but like EVERYTHING that I've gotten from Simplisafe, it's easy to install and literally works right out of the box. Well, you do need to remove the paper tab to post the device and you do need to add it to your Simplsafe system and you do need to stick it to the window frame but that's it.

Easy to set up, good range in a house and through walls.

We have these on 7 entry doors and use them to trigger secret alerts on cabinets and doors where the babysitter shouldn't be snooping. I've found that the sensors don't like the two components being too close to one another and found a 0.5" or even 1" gap between them yields the best, most stable result. Good quality product.

Great entry sensor! Good to know you can get these elsewhere besides the website, especially if you know you need one in a pinch! I had forgotten to order for another window and lucky Best Buy had them in hand! Easy to add and integrate into an existing system!

These are great, very easy to add to an existing system. Cheaper than paying shipping to get from the manufacturer. something I learned, if you are trying to put on a horizontal, sliding window, you can use double sided table on a strong magnet from the hardware store so it will fit between the window panes.

The little things count too. This entry sensor will provide peace of mind to me and my husband when we install it at a door or window in our new house to alert us of intruders. We will definitely be purchasinh more soon.

Simplisafe is the best security system. Its easy to set up and no long-term contracts, no over priced equipment, and the best is that you have FULL control over the entire system unlike ADT.

Easy set up, works as expected. What more can you say about it. However, if you have one that breaks don't buy a new one. Simplisafe is very good about replacing their sensors that stop working for free you just need to send them the broken one back.

We had many issues with our generation 1 SimpliSafe alarm system. we upgraded to the Gen 2 about 5 months ago. what a world of difference it made; no more false sensor warnings. the new style door/window sensors installation, naming, and mounting went smooth.

Reasonably priced motion detector for SimpliSafe. The reasonable price of additional accessories is one reason I chose to go with SimpliSafe instead of Nest. Of course, the sensor does its primary job of detecting motion flawlessly and reliably, in addition to being affordable and easy to set up.

This security system piece is easy to install and made me feel safe knowing my family had someone watching over them when I was gone. This is part of a security system that has free connection to a monitoring service that knows when a sensor is triggered and then calls you to let you know.

These sensors work great. I bought it to replace one sensor that was giving me a false alarm. It has not failed. I wonder if I can get warranty by simpli safe. I need to give them a call
