Easy to set up. Only had one issue with connecting. Contacted customer service and they helped me walk through with connecting. Unable to fix problem so they sent out a new wireless module. Upgraded to next day air due to leaving town on date it was suppose to arrive. Exellent customer service and new module fixed the issue.

Very easy to install and easy to use. Very reasonable monthly price for monitoring. Only complaint is you can't set it to the home setting if you are leaving or with the remote, only away.

It’s a small security system but that’s all need works geat have three doors and 7 windows in my house they are low to the ground so it’s a good peace of mind that I know my Home and pets are protect without paying 60 dollars a month for a alarm system that has the same things and only 15 dollars a montj

Keypad seems a touch flakey, and base station feels kinda cheap. That being said, set up is super easy and no contract a big plus. Doesn't offer logging of people entering/leaving house like TWC system does, but let's you use motion sensors while at home. TWC system didn't. I am more concerned about protecting my family while I sleep than protecting my stuff while away, so another big plus for SimpliSafe.

Easy set up, can add extra equipment if you want, no land line needed which can be cut by thiefs if they know what they are doing.

Although it isn’t the prettiest the system is comprehensive. The monthly monitoring fee comes in at a significantly lower cost than more well known security companies. The app is easy to use and efficient. When my cleaning lady triggered the alarm their callback was immediate and professional. Easy to setup and install. Perfect for my first time purchasing a home and living on my own. Would receive a 4 out of 5 if system was more aesthetically pleasing or if they allowed upgrade to the newer models without having to buy brand new system.

Only draw back is that the wireless device setup is not good. If you have Verizon Wireless you must call customer service. They will send you a replacement part. Unfortunately it still didn't work. I had to get a landline. Works great niw

This was very easy to install and set up. After setting it up though we noticed it have difficulty connecting to dispatch. After a few weeks I decided to call and they said it was the cellular chip. Simplisafe sent us a Verizon chip and we have had no troubles since then. Thats the only reason for a 4 star rating.

I just got the simplysafe Security system (Basic) just to try it out. It is just like any wireless home system without the attachment with a cable provider. If you just want a standalone wireless alarm then this is it. The cons: $25 monthly if you want the App support and also the the sensor gets heavy so that double tape will not hold and you will end up drilling holes. Also, make sure this is no interference from the Base Station to keypad and sensors or else you will get notifications that it is open.

This is by far the best bang for your buck security system. I love that it’s wireless and only took me 30 minutes to set up. Thank you SimpliSafe.

System is a good, inexpensive choice, compared to competitors with similar feature set. System is plug and play out of the box. Plug it in, place sensors and keypads, and sign-up for monitoring and you're done. Easy to expand system by purchasing additional sensors on SimpliSafe's site. Reduced rating to 4 stars, as my system's cellular card wouldn't activate. After calling SimpliSafe customer service and walking through some troubleshooting, they sent me a replacement module which resolved the issue.

This system was a breeze to install. From unpacking box to installed and working in < 30 minutes (could have been less if I was in more of a hurry). I had to call SimpliSafe for activation, the automatic registration didn't work, I think because the cell signal is bad in my area and I had the base unit in a bad place. I moved the unit to a different area of the house and called SimpliSafe for activation, which took about 5 minutes.

I have been shopping for a system for our apartment. This was on sale and I had to get it! It has the best purchase I made. I now can sleep at night and during the day, knowing this alarm system will help me when someone tries to enter!

I bought SimpliSafe based on the recommendation by my friend. I wanted to reduce my monthly bill and buy a security system that is efficient and affordable. I don't have to pay extra every month if I install additional sensors. Extremely happy with the product. Easy to install and to add additional sensors. Works as promised. I like that there are no wires going through the wall. The only con is that the base station needs to be louder. I have set the volume at its highest and it is still not loud enough.
