Worth The Upgrade

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Upgraded my older unit mainly because could not see the keypad in the dark, This one is much better the buttons are larger space further apart and everything is illuminated with just a touch of the unit anywhere and the whole thing lights up nice job SimpliSafe as far as the rest of the devices they are smaller that's all I can tell at the moment.

easy set up needs refining

My problem with this device is the volume and the light on the base. The entire house lights up when the alarm is activated. There is no dimming it. I covered the light ring electrical tape to block it out.

Great once set up

Otherwise it’s a good system and good value. I would recommend Simolisafe as a company, I’ve had them years and have been happy with them. The generation 1 system seems to crap out after three years and a battery change or two... let’s hope generation 2 improves on that.
