This system has flaws like anyone else but the triggers are very sensitive. I signed up for the highest security and with police dept. to initiate security concerns. I can use app to secure home and set reminders if I forget. Security simplified!

It even noted the temporary power loss which was evidenced by the flashing kitchen clocks when we got home. Camera on the front door caught us walking in before and after the alarm was deactivated on the keypad. Great to know the system works so well.

Now and then the loggers lose connection, or the battery runs out. At that point you have to remove them from the sytem and then reinstall them. Kind of annoying, but overall, and good system for the price.

Posted .Hi there. You shouldn't need to remove any components from the system. If they ever run out of battery power, you would just replace that battery and it should reconnect all by itself.
That is, unless the issue is actually with connectivity (which shows up as a general "error" message). Our Support team at 800-548-9508 can help you through resolving that.

I just did not want a system that was monitored by a service. I prefer to monitor. Cut out the middle-man. Saves response time when I get notified and I call the police myself.

I guess that's where it got its name… I would say this is great for an apartment or a condo… But if I were going to install a serious security system… I would go with one with a 2 TB DVR & 4K cameras…Just my two pennies…
