Great add-on for SimpliSafe System

Was reluctant to get their cameras. Finally bought a couple. Wish I would have bought them sooner. Great features for the price and good build quality as well. Definitely recommend getting these if you have a SimpliSafe system already or are thinking of getting one.

Good Product but a little picky to set up

SimpliSafe marketing does not fully disclose the requirements for this camera. After setup problems, Tech support advised 2 mb/s internet up load speed required per camera so had to upgrade my costly rural internet service. Their basic $15/ mo monitoring service does not provide full functionality, so so another upgrade. It only works on 2.4 GHz WiFi so May be a problem in WiFi congested areas. In spite of that, it was a good addition to my system since it let me determine there was no intrusion when the adhesive on a motion sensor failed and it fell to the floor leading to a false alarm

Those hard to reach places with no plugs or being outside with no plugs since the camera needs to be wired would be my only drawback but it is what it is and it does a nice job. My SimpliSafe over all is convenient and easy to use. Monitoring is great and they follow up promptly. I would recommend.
