Had a few minor issues with getting it setup correctly to lock the door. Once figured out it works like a charm. Goes well with my existing setup from SimpleSafe.

I bought the lock for the front door of my vacation home, where I've used Simplisafe for about 6 years without any problems. I installed the lock pretty easily, and it looks like it works okay. Installation was easy. Note that the system is not a "lock" -- it's just a controller for the inside of the door that can open or close the deadbolt when you punch in the PIN code on the keypad that you place on the outside of the door. You don't have to replace the lock mechanism or need new keys, you just install the Simplisafe mechanism to the inside part of the door. This is a nice feature if you want to keep your current keys, and it simplifies installation. The negative is that the keypad itself feels a little flimsy, and simply sticks to somewhere on the outside of the door. Anyone could easily rip it off and take it with them (not that it would do them any good on its own). It also felt like it could easily fall off the wall and get lost. That said, I never actually used it. Turns out the lock is not compatible with the "original" system, which is something they do not notify you about in any of the marketing or product information (as of June 2020 -- that might change). It was terribly annoying to buy this, open it, set it up, spend half an hour trying to figure out why my system wouldn't recognize it, spend an hour reading up on it to look to see if it might be incompatible with my product, then have to call the support (which is great) to find out that in fact it doesn't work with the original system. I would give the product itself around 4 stars -- okay, not great, but a cheap alternative to a sturdy Schlage lock that will replace the lock and integrate with a keypad. I subtracted one more star because Simplisafe isn't being clear that it doesn't work for the thousands of people who have their original system.

Simple to install and works great. No need To change your lock or make new keys as it works with your existing lock. Worth it.

This has come in handy when you have someone housesit or quick access to your house. You can give them a pin and deleted when you want. I have love this lock. I ended up getting these installed on my back door and garage. Great product

Great lock... saves me the anxiety of the house being unsecured. Added together with all the smart devices , it was simple to install.

Easy to install. Working the way it should. The lock has only been in service a short time. Not sure what will happen in a few months.

If you have the SimpliSafe security system, the Smart Lock works seamlessly with it. You can easily lock/unlock it from the SimpliSafe app, see whether it's locked or unlocked, and you receive alerts just as you would with any of the other sensors. It was very easy to install on my own.

Product itself is good, just was not clear that it needed another component for it to work.

This smart lock only took 20 minutes to retrofit into my existing Kiwkset deadbolt and has been working great for three months now. It integrates bautifully with the Simplisafe system we installed too!

Works great, simple to install, I wish SimpliSafe would integrate more with google home.

After purchasing this lock for my SimpliSafe system, i would definitely puchase again. Never do I worry whether or not my door is locked. The app lets you know & you can set it up to receive a text message for verification.

This was purchased to replace an August smart lock that had some issues and could never get any technical answers to resolve. The Simplisafe lock was easy to install, synced with my Simplisafe security system in minutes and works great. Best value for the money!

This product works great and blends very well into the overall Simplisafe System if you have other products from the company. It was extremely easy to install and works great. Plus you keep your key as a backup should the battery die.

Easy installation. This lock has the advantage that you can still use a key if you choose too. Codes are programmable for other people and are retained in case of a wifi or power failure because the system has its own SIM card with battery backup.

Not bad, more affordable compared to other brands. If you have SimpliSafe, worth the purchase.

So convenient when you want to go outside to workout and leave your key. Great for others or kids who you allow to have the code. Controlling via the app is a win as well.

I bought this door lock since I have a SimpliSafe system and wanted the lock to be in the same app. Once arrived I realized that the keypad does not take place of the key and is to be mounted in addition to it. From a security standpoint, you are adding another way to enter for an intruder. They can try to pick the lock or enter a passcode. Also, after installing it jammed three times right away. Not even trying to lock. Nothing blocking it. It worked normal after that, but I lost my trust in it immediately. I have come to the realization that a normal old key lock is boring, but effective. And if I was to ever get another smart lock, I would not have it integrated with SimpliSafe. While another app is a downside, you would essentially have double the protection.

Relatively easy to install and connect to the security system. Had to do some updates once connected via bluetooth. Worth it.

Good lock but you must sign up for monthly monitoring to get the update for it to work with your SimpliSafe alarm
