    This radio is great when it will come in. It has very weak reception and it goes off as often as it plays. If you are on a straight road out away from the city, it might work, otherwise not so great.

    It's nice to have satellite radio in the hinterlands of southern Maryland. However, the unit regularly drops out for a second or two, then picks up again. It doesn't matter where you are.

    There are areas where it plays great but ony for a very short period of time. lots of ststic, usually, listening to 2 stations at the same. Not happy with performance of Sirrus radio

    Having asked the salesperson if this unit would hook up to my car through the USB port, I bought it; however, it hooks up through the cigarette lighter port and needs an antenna. I had hoped that it would be as easy as with my iPhone, which uses the USB port and plays SiriusXM right through the radio.

      Sorry you did not have a good experience. The Onyx EZR is not a USB device. it does need the antenna to receive the signal from the SiriusXM Satellites. the audio can interface with your vehicle radio via an AUX audio input (3.5mm) or via FM modulation (which we recommend using the FMDA25 adapter). Important to note that most USB connections in the vehicle only charge a phone or allow audio via the iPod interface from an iPhone) or older vehicles may support MP3 files from a thubm drive. SiriusXM

    Ok receiver but had problem sometime it would not power up. I returned it to Best Buy Geek Squad and upgraded to Onyx Plus
