not what I expected

I had hoped that it would be as easy as with my iPhone, which uses the USB port and plays SiriusXM right through the radio.

Posted .Sorry you did not have a good experience. The Onyx EZR is not a USB device. it does need the antenna to receive the signal from the SiriusXM Satellites. the audio can interface with your vehicle radio via an AUX audio input (3.5mm) or via FM modulation (which we recommend using the FMDA25 adapter). Important to note that most USB connections in the vehicle only charge a phone or allow audio via the iPod interface from an iPhone) or older vehicles may support MP3 files from a thubm drive.
