I decided to purchase this item because I will be using my car a lot less but I wanted to get better use out of my xm radio since I pay monthly for it. I have the Sirius Edge for my vehicle and it is only compatible with the newer dock. I was not happy about the price being $149.99 but I decided to buy it without researching the product beforehand. I'm a little worried about the signal quality when I move into my apartment in the fall, but I'm going to wing it and hope for the best. Pros: The sound quality is great for a docking system, it can get pretty loud WITHOUT the speakers sounding fuzzy or on the verge of blowing out. I like that it is extremely light and easy to set up. It comes with a remote and a battery and you can adjust stations from across a large room. The design is nice and compact and fits nicely on a bookshelf or end table. Great for parties by the poolside. Cons: The unit has an "indoor/outdoor" antennae but in my home I can only get signal near a window. Price is a little high as well. There was no GSBTP (Geek Squad Black Tie Protection) available with it at the time of my purchase.

I bought it for my husband for x-mas to put in his garage, he still cant use it unless he drills a hole in the wall and mounts the antenna on the roof. A waste of 160.00 bucks. It is nice if you are going to use somewhere other then a pole barn.

I like it cuz I can use it anywhere, as long as I have a clear signal.

It works great I just wish it had rechargeable battery pack

It's nice to have, but the antenna should be upgraded to be wireless. i cannot use in the house!

Had purchased for use in & around house - despite Tech Support assist remain unable to get useful signal inside house - yet to trial purchasing a signal boosting device such as a repeater - may yet return the product if remain unable to successfully receive radio signal for inside home use.

Would do more research before buying another. Don't like having to keep my station upstairs to get reception.

Would love top dock my sirius throughout my house but have to take outside and stretch antenna to get reception. Very frustrating.
