On the day of installation, I was told that the cost of installation did not cover installation of the Sirius xm tuner. So I decided to return it.

Posted .Sorry you had this experience - the SiriusXM Connect SXV300 is designed to plug behind the dash and connect out of sight. The only wire you may see is the antenna cable - which if professional installed is typically completely hidden as well. When the SXV300 is installed correctly, it is controlled by the compatible SiriusXM-Ready head unit for easy use.
