It works, ive noticed from time to time some stations dont sound too clear and its random stations. It does this even when the sky is clear with no obstructions.

If you, like I, have recently purchased a new head unit that advertises being "XM Ready," you will be needing this part. Its really the highest quality XM option out there if your car head unit offers it. Your unit will sound a lot better adding this than say an external XM reciever thats "hard wired" or transmits over a radio band. You also have the full GUI seamless integration which gives the interior appearance that you've had XM in the car since the factory. If your car already has an xm ant., you will need a small adaptapter in conjunction with this kit to integrate to your car completely.

If you have an after market deck and want Sirius this is the best way. Direct hook up to your stereo.

If you can pull your own radio out, this will be an easy install. Pretty much plug and play. Makes listening so much better with miles of Comercial free music.
