I previously used a Sirius XM radio receiver that mounted on the dash and plugged into the cigarette lighter. It worked great, but I didn't like all the cables and it sometimes got interference from radio stations. I didn't even notice that my radio was Sirius XM ready at the time. This works great because it is powered off the radio and hides behind the dash. It was easy to install too.

This is my first Sirius Satellite Radio. It has so many channels, most of which I will not use. But, I like the ones that I use a lot. In fact, I don't use my original car radio anymore since I bought this. Since I have no experience with installation, I had it installed by a professional installer and the reception has been excellent.

Works great with my Sirius ready pioneer head unit. Wss easy to install. Took me about 35 minutes to install. toughest part was routing the antenna cable through the firewall. everything else was pretty much plug and play. Great deal with 3 months free service and mail in rebate

Sirius service is quite expensive, however worth it in the long run. Not a lot of ads and you can listen to whatever you like. We are able to drive almost everywhere so far with no interruption to service. The only place we have found that we loose service is in the last part of the canyon headed to Vegas from Utah and under bridges.
