I don't think the subscription is necessary unless you really need help with meal planning. Definitely been a help for my wife to keep track of our combined schedules.

Great for the family

Needed a way to help keep the entire family on the same page and it's working well so far. I only took off a star because the price just doesn't seem to be worth the limited features compared to other options out there. We had some rewards to help make it less expensive.
