New cord for every new appliance.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I thought about using my old cord to save money, but when the installer mentioned that OSHA requires a new cord for every new appliance, it makes perfect sense especially when dealing with electricity. Mine didn't work right at first. I even replaced the outlet until I read that for every major appliance installation that the breaker for that appliance outlet needs to be shut off first, plug in the appliance, then turn on the breaker for the full 240 wattage to be available for the appliance to work properly.

It's a good length for most installations and the service guys attached it with no problem. Best of all, the jacket isn't sticky, like on our old cord, making it easy to clean.

Even if customers have different outlets it should still be included as you need a cord to operate the dryer.
