A: I just order a dyer from best buy, on my order list they provide both 3 and 4 prong cord so they are prepared for the install.

A: The key difference between a three prong outlet and a four prong outlet is that a three prong outlet has only two hot wires and a neutral one. It has no separate ground wire. Therefore the dryers neutral was tied to the ground connection on the metal case of the dryer
Q: Is this a 3 prong straight blade dryer cord? I need a straight blades, no l-shaped prongs
