Can someone show me a pic of their 4 wire cord install? I'm having issues with it
The key difference between a three prong outlet and a four prong outlet is that a three prong outlet has only two hot wires and a neutral one. It has no separate ground wire. Therefore the dryers neutral was tied to the ground connection on the metal case of the dryer
