Absolutely a must to avoid recharging every few weeks. Mount it one time and your ring will be powered at all times.

Works great. Make sure you have it placed where you can get maximum sun and you will never have problems keeping your camera charged up. Install shouldn't take you more than 30 minutes from the time you unbox it. Note: Follow Ring's advice and charge your camera battery fully before you hook this up and you should be fine. A lot of people don't do that and then they are surprised that it takes 2 to 3 days from a dead battery.

Since installing panel. batteries have not died at all. Always stays charged. Easy to install and hook up. Wouldn't do without it if possible.

Very nice and easy to install. I wish there is a way for the endusers to determine the length of the wire from the solar panel to the Ring Spotlight Cam. Because my solar panel is 1ft from the Ring camera, now I have so much wire coiled up around the neck of the panel which doesn't looks attractive. One suggestion is add a wire keeper on the back of the panel, so people can wrap around it on the back if there is extra wire length after installed people doesn't know what to do with it.

Good investment for charging ring camera. Efficient and camera never goes drain. Easy to clean and nice and small. Expensive for only one panel.

I have two attached to two stick up cameras. Easy setup and they keep the cameras fully charged.

This charged my battery at a 100% in 2 days. Since then it keeps my battery at 98 to 80 percent every day. You wont need 2 batteries with this mini solar panel.

Great way to keep your battery fully charged. I have this put up on the right top corner of my garage entry and since it was difficult to climb up and change the batteries on my ring spotlight cam, this has solved everything. It’s been working for several years, however in the winter here in Michigan it does not charge as well in the cloudy conditions as it does in the summer. That being said it’s still adequate to keep the two batteries I have fully functional and never have to manually remove the batteries and charge them up.
