My Sonos setup wouldnt connect to my mesh network. So, after doing some light reading, the solution was presented to me as buying the Boost to setup a SonosNet. After plugging in the Boost to my main mesh node the system has no issues connecting to the Wi-Fi. Its very frustrating that Sonos has issues connecting to a mesh network in the first place and that it caused to me to spend $100 extra dollars on the Boost, but at least it does what was advertised.

This component is needed if you want to use remote speakers with your player. It works exactly as expected.

Worked but returned due to latest Sonos update. Might consider purchasing again for more reliable system.
