Does what it says it will
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great device that serves its purpose - creating a dedicated place on your wireless network for Sonos devices. In the days where a bridge might have been needed (still needed for S1 only set ups) the Boost also fills that role quite well.

Save Your Money
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the Sonos Boost to make use of Sonosnet to isolate my Sonos traffic from my home network. What a mistake. I don’t recommend Sonosnet (Sonos’ propietary mesh network), and I don’t recommend the Boost. It caused audio drop outs to be more frequent, no matter what I did to optimize my setup. My recommendation is to invest your money in better WiFi gear and to set up Sonos in the standard WiFi setup.
