I have the Boost to ensure the system functions as promised. The Boost is on the first floor 70' away from the furthest speaker that is in the basement. I may increase the distance so I retained the Boost. Too bad there is not a way to "measure" if the Boost is really needed.

I'm a huge sonos fan. Have the P1, (2) soundbars and an amp, but they are all S1. This boost is S2 so there could be some issues getting everything synced up as it's not as seamless to get something that is S2 default working with all your S1 compatible devices so plan on calling their technical support to clean all of this up. Their tech support is excellent by the way and will walk you through all that you would need to do. If the S2/S1 was a more seamless integration I would have given it 5 stars, but overall everything Sonos is of high quality and will last forever!

if you have a bigger home this is a must have,very nice

Makes a big difference - never loses signal for at least 75 feet outside the house

Works well, didn’t like that we had to buy a new bridge to use our speakers. Should’ve been an update or bring in the old we give you a discount on the new.

Improved performance of Sonos system but about the same as connecting a speaker directly to the router

Big house definitely needs this... much better coverage and the app works better!
