I use this device to run my sonos setup so isn't running on the same network as my wifi. Works great.

Easy to install and makes connection much more solid - a huge help for houses with problematic wiring.

I dont know why I didn't get this earlier... im able to listen to music anywhere in the house, even by the pool

The transmitter was incredibly easy to set up, and has not failed to transmit wireless signals even once so far.

This item is a good way to start your Sonos system. It is the lowest priced networking agent in the product line. It hooks up easily to your router and syncs just as easily to you speaker. The only problem I had with Sonos was with the app. I had some trouble getting it to recognize the music on my tablet. Instead I run it from my computer and use my tablet to change playlists and such. It will not power non Sonos speakers, for that you would need the Bridge.

VERY EASY TO SET UP AND USE. SOUND IS GREAT. ONLY DOWNFALL IS THEY DONT SUPPORT WINDOWS RT FOR SURFACE TABLETS.

its a gotta have to keep a strong signal to all of the different streaming tunes incoming. Worth every penny!

The Boost was a timely addition to my Sonos system. I moved into a home and my internet setup changed so that my Playbar was not located next to the router to establish the network connection for the system. I went into the Beat Buy looking for a Bridge, but I found out it had been discontinued from the stores. I didn't have time to wait, so I bought the Boost. It works great! Seemless installation like most other Sonos products.

I was having problems with songs cutting off before they were finished. I thought this would help the issue but it turns out that the issue was the network connection between my iPad/iPhone and the router. It is my understanding that you get the same results if you can plug a speaker into your router so I would recommend that if possible. Otherwise this would be a good addition to your system.

No issues in connecting to Sonos in large one story home. Coverage to two Sonos connects.

The Boost unit sets up the Sonos network and was really easy to configure. Can easily be concealed.
