Bought in the store at recommendation of very knowledgeable salesman. Then I didn't open the box for two weeks after reading some negative reviews about Alexa difficulties. I'm sorry I waited. Network and Alexa connection setup were easy and flawless. All is working perfectly and the sound is amazing. Airplay connection to my iphone is also simple and reliable. I'll probably buy another one.

Packaged with no directions. Called Sonos twice on hold for a half hour each time. No support equals product return.

The look is very modern and fits comfortably in any home without standing out like most bulky speakers. The Sonos One is meant to stay put in one place so an ugly colorful speaker is not ideal unless you're into that sort of thing. Alexa is also pretty good at hearing you call her name from across the room. I never felt the need to yell to get her attention. Size? Well, you can picture the Sonos One to be about the same size as a large can of coffee. It's a bit weighty for its size, but it's all good — you only have to place it wherever you want and let Alexa get to work.

For a single speaker it has decent Sound and a quality feel. Does not have all the same features as Amazon units such as Dot like they claim. You can not change Alexa wake name or group with external speakers used with the Dot. Also seems to have a bug where music won't play on Sonos after using the Dot with the same play list (says it is playing but Sonos is silent). For the above reasons I gave it three stars.

All the Alexis functions are not working. I will need to return the unit.

I love my Sonos 1! It has great sounds to be such an inconspicuous design. The set up was easy, I love the Alexa features and Alexa recognizes any voice so it's great for the entire family. It's also great for entertaining guest, entertaining me while I cook, or even in the shower with it's super cool humidity resistant feature. The sound quality is amazing and I would definitely recommend to a friend!

Sounds good for money. Only supports a few Alexa commands. Misrepresentation.

Sonos has long been one of my favorite speakers for its sheer unbelievably amazing sound quality. In fact, I knew Sonos was a winner when my mother-in-law opted for Sonos in her new house instead of having the house wired for sound. We are audiophiles in this family and if sound quality matters to you, buy Sonos. The latest update features Amazon Alexa so I may not ever need to leave my house again. Easy to install and even easier to use.

Unable to connect to wifi not good not good not good

We've been using the Sonos One to help around the house while keeping a baby happy at the same time. We use the Sonos to play nursery rhymes, check the weather and even ask silly questions that we're pondering. It's been a life saver since I can do all of those hands free! I love that you can connect other Sonos together so we can listen to music throughout our whole house wirelessly. It's been a great addition!

This is the best Sonos product yet! Alexa with excellent sound quality and Sonos with voice control. It's the perfect marriage! I've had Sonos speakers since 2009 and I'm in love with the new Sonos One. The voice integration is solid and the sound quality superb. Set up pro tip: if you already have a system, make sure those units are plugged in when you install your new Sonos One for a more seamless install.

I've been an Amazon Echo owner since they first came out, but have always been disappointed with the audio quality. Sonos has stepped in and the Sonos One is the smart voice-activated speaker I've always wanted. Once they get full Spotify integration it's going to be fantastic, but it's already very good and the new heart of our music listening.

I have purchased and connected 8 Sonos that are Awesome: 2 Player 5's, 4 Player 1's, 1 Beam and 1 Connector...Easy Set Up...All Stay in Sync Playing Great Music...So refreshing after I gave up on Bose SoundTouch 20's(they never stayed in sync for more than 30 minutes..no matter how many updates)...fyi...For Sonos ...I increased my bandwidth ...purchased a new modem and the Mesh Network System by eero...I am just impressed that all is working without glitches or bugs...so far...and Yes They do have a Great Sound...You can control the bass and treble from the app. ...Fingers crossed that future Sonos updates will not wreck my system...ps...Alexa works Great with Sonos!!!

This speaker has amazing sound. Alexa seems to work as expected and Sonos promises updates and new features to take it to the next level. It's a bit confusing to have the Alexa app and the Sonos app to use the Sonos One, but I love the way Sonos names the speakers to make it easy to know which one you are controlling. I do wish it played a little nicer with my Amazon Echo to work like it would if I had two Sonos devices. Overall I'm quite happy with it!

I started with one speaker and was really impressed with its sound. I am so happy that Sonos finally integrated Audible back into these. That was my major complaint. They recently also included the ability to turn off the Alexa wake chime which I am incredibly grateful for. I currently have two of these speaker set up for rear surround sound along with a beam and sub and absolutely love the sound. Could not be happier.

I have nothing but good things to say about this speaker. Its sound is phenomenal and I love that all I have to do is ask Alexa to play a song and she does.
