I upgraded from my Samsung receiver and this has much more to offer. Fully loaded except for an Ethernet port but other than that it's a great product. 4K. Bluetooth. It comes with an app where you can send media from your phone. The Bluetooth connection within the app is slow but it does the job.

Purchased this to replace an old Yamaha that did not have HDMI. Thought I might lose some music sound quality when compared to the Yamaha which I loved. But to my surprise I feel this Sony is giving a truer sound reproduction than my old receiver. I am very happy with this purchase!

My 10+ year old Yamaha receiver has been amazing. Nothing wrong with it except one of the speaker wire connections on the back finally broke. Reluctantly I decided to replace it and decided this model met my needs without exceeding them. I like the HDMI pass through - of course my Yamaha didn't have that. The menus on the screen is a plus in my eyes, even though they are very basic. The microphone setup was easy, but I still made a few adjustments to the settings. The only thing I don't like about this one is the loud noise it makes when you turn it on - not through the speakers but from the unit itself - probably a relay. It's surprisingly loud. I hope this unit lasts as long as my Yamaha!

The new stereos there days surly wasn't like the old one that I had. Loving the blue tooth, HDMI inputs for TV, Game stations & best of all the two subwoofers that u can hook up. Don't hesitate buying one, Gotten mine black Friday sale. Happier than ever !

This is the receiver I needed to complement my Sony 4k tv. Could not have been any better. Easily connects to the surround sound speakers already in place. Set up to the remote almost instantly. (hate using multiple remotes. Sound is fantastic. The neighbors come over often to watch movies.

I bought this for my husband for Christmas because our surround system broke. He only needed the receiver, so this Sony one looked and sounded great and was a great deal (($350 originally and $199 on sale). My husband absolutely loves it. The sound it bold and clear every time.

Everything runs through this receiver for our home theater: Epson projector, Sony Blu-Ray DVD player, Roku, surround sound speakers, tuner box and Leaf 50 amplified antenna. Great value, great receiver! No complaints! We got it based on great reviews and a good sale price.

Very easy to set up and has many different functions. I had an issue with finding the correct function, but once I found it everything sounds great. for some reason the HD theater option wouldn't work for me so I used cinema 6 (I think that is the name of it) and no issues since.

This is perfect for a home theater setup. 7.2 capability to get the full experience, pushes speakers to sound amazing, and a perfect price too!

This receiver is a great buy for the money, it is easy to connect to a TV with HDMI and automatically selects the type of audio that is sent via the cable set top box.. also is blue tooth enabled so plays songs from your phone.. I'm very pleased with this product

We wanted a receiver that wouldn't be really expensive and we got that with this Sony receiver. It was fairly easy to hook up all of our components to it and the sound is great. We are enjoying the surround sound with our speakers that we have not had for a while.

I bought this receiver for my motorhome to use with my projector out in Glamis and it works perfect I couldn't ask for a better one. The price was excellent for how well it works I'm getting another one for my pool area outside to go with my 70 inch TV

ive always been about high end like jvc,pioneer etc but this sony reciver is great the downfall is there are no instructions so you are on your own and if you dont have a sony tv it wont connect right

Has all the connections for a complete system including optical audio and enough speaker connections for full surround sound. HDMI connections allow for multiple systems. Audio can be set up with an apparent listener connected to the stereo for the best sound.

We purchased this receiver for our outdoor entertainment center and couldn't be happier. The sound quality is awesome both from the stereo and television.

This is a good middle-of-the-road receiver. I like the HDMI easy set-up. The settings can be somewhat confusing and will occasionally re-set to default. Otherwise the receiver is as expected and performs very well.

I live the Bluetooth capability with my phone, I don't use the surround sound because I have floor speakers but they pump hard with bass turned up neighbors complained lol, also a lot of hdmi inputs for tons of media use it for phone and xbox mostly

I would have liked more features on this product, but everything works well so far. My old receiver didn't support 4k, so had to purchase all new equipment to support new tv. let's hope it's worth it in the future!

I wanted to replace a 20+ year old stereo system. This did the trick just great. I am not a technophile nor someone wanting a home theater system - for which it is designed and I have confidence that it would work well in that application.

Sound is terrific...much better than my prior 10 year old Sony Receiver which I always loved. It really could use an instruction book rather than sending you to go online and only providing a wiring diagram.
