I recently bought this receiver in order to replace an old model. It was very easy to install and the many settings allowed for a more nuanced home theater experience.

The is a good product for the price. The remote needs an unobstructed line of site to work all the time. Easy to setup and has great options.

Upgraded from 500w receiver with very few options to this one. I have only had an Insignia brand receiver so I can't really compare with other brands but I am happy with receiver for the price I paid. I love the bypass feature (cable box and Xbox hooked up to receiver then receiver out to tv without having to turn on receiver to watch) as my old one did not. Produces a great pic and sound quality, has plenty of watts.

I bought this to go with some previously installed speakers. I'm not the most "techie" person but it was fairly easy to set up and has plenty of listening options.

I needed a 7.1 receiver with plenty of power, lots of HDMI inputs, and I wanted something that could eventually pass 4k video. This receiver totally fit the bill.

I purchased this unit after reading several reviews and the receiver being on sale. I was replacing a 15yr old Sony receiver that had worked great (and still works great), but didn't have HDMI inputs. I set up the unit and it was really easy to configure. The sound was great and I was happy with the receiver. The very next day the I switched inputs using the remote, and when I went to adjust the volume, the remote was no longer working. Nothing on the remote worked. It lasted less than 24hrs! I tried new batteries, resetting the unit, everything. I returned it and decided to go with the Pioneer VSX-830-K. It's quite a bit more confusing to configure, but well worth it. The WiFi and airplay features are worth the price difference, not to mention more reliable unit.

Good sound quality to my not so choosy ear. Integrates well with other gear and works perfectly for segregating speakers in separate rooms.

This surround sound receiver is a good value, Always a please to use good products.

I had an A/V Amp that cost 2 x as much and was not superior in performance. This is a great choice if you want a User Friendly Product with great performance.

The Fact That It Has 115 Watts Per Channel Really Appealed To Me, I Have Harmon/Kardon Speaker System & They Sound Great, This Receiver Really Kicks Butt

Got this on Black Friday weekend for a great price. 7.2 system with lots of updates bells and whistles. Entertainment system sounds great with this unit.

Im very pleased with this system. It's easy to use and has a very nice design. The remote doesn't have the Bluetooth option on it so have to manual Change it.

With a new TV I was having an issue with my surround sound. Even though having the receiver requires another remote, the surround sound is working well.

I got this on Black Friday good price for 7.1 channel. Works good for my home theater

This is the second SONY receiver that I have purchased from Best Buy for my home TV enjoyment. Great product easy to use works well with our new smart TV.

This unit does everything I expected it to do. It has plenty of inputs for both the newest and older components, and power to spare at a reasonable price.
