    Very smooth sound with no audible distortion. All the right standards and cables are supported. Very easy to use, plus has automatic setup with mic to tune the system to your room.

    We bought this to replace an old receiver that did not work correctly. Hook up was easy, and the sound is great. It is an upgrade from a 5.1 to a 7.2, so eventually we will have to buy new speakers when all of the technology changes to 7.1 or 7.2.

    Audio settings need adjustment--not "perfect out the box" like a Bose sound system, but you can get the sound you want after some tweaks. Replaced my faulty Onkyo receiver--don't have model number readily available, but my Onkyo model has multiple reviews/tech problems related to potentially faulty/failing HDMI components.

    I love this receiver, very happy with it, my surround sound is great! Really easy to setup and calibrate. Love the Bluetooth and the HDMI throughput!

    Good AV receiver for the price. Has limited inputs other than HDMI and does not upscale as my old Onkyo did so I had to direct connect older components to the TV. Sound is good but limited sound fields.
