This is a great unit for the money. This of course depends on the planned usage. Sound quality and power are enough to fill a reasonably sized living room. Setup was very easy, no real need for instructions. Bluetooth is very easy to sync with my phone, no issues.

I bought this on whim after purchasing a new projector for my family's home theater set up. After easy switch installation and connecting, we watched a 3D movie and loved it. It easily switches channels from Cable to PS4, to a laptop. Amazing.

This receiver does every thing I need it to do. It has a low price point and you should expect the lack of options related to that price. I would have liked Dolby Atmos, but it was not necessary in the small room that I am using it in.

It's a really good buy everything works fine I am having trouble setting up my subwoofer but I am sure after some more research I will get things figured out

I purchased this receiver to replace my old Sony that was over 6 years old. It has a nice sound and the setup was easy.

This receiver would have worked fine for me but I needed a 2nd zone for outside speakers. I originally thought I could just turn speaker "B" on and off easily like my old Denon. Upgraded to the 1060.

Setup was easy and sounds great. Multi functions allow for targeted sound. Speakers have wonderful tone.

I have greatly enjoyed this Sony receiver. I had been waiting for just the right features in a receiver for my use with a 3d projector television. This one has fit the bill and than some. Not only having the Blu-ray, 3d ins and outs but also having the future technology of 4K. This is an easy setup with simple speaker balancing design. Really appreciate all it's up to date features for present and future application with movies and games. Thanks for making this type of technology affordable.

Got great tech support when installing, over the phone, from the geek squad and sony. One call, and they answered all my questions and made sure I got the help I needed, efficiently and courteously. I was very impressed

the set up is fast and easy, best to add speaker plugs to make it even easier. the sound and conversion works flawlessly

I AM SURPRISED FOR THE POWER OF THIS AMPLIFIER, HAS A SOUND CLEAR AN DIFERENT CHOICES OF EQUALIZER

This reciever was nice, when it would work. Most of the time we could hear audio but see no video. After replacing all HDMI cables, we determined that the reciever wasn't passing HDCP to the projector. We took this back and got an Oknyo that was only like $50 more but we lost about 15 watts per channel in doing so. Only thing I felt this had going for it was the amount of power it puts out. The quality of sound was really nice.

Cosmetically and functionally perfect. Exactly as described. Unit performs as expected. Good buy.

Handles everything I throw it at for the moment. No fancy Wi-Fi support, but gets the job done for a basic 7.2 home theater set-up.

I've been a "Sony" theater house for years. I've always been pleased with their TVs and audio equipment. We recently upgraded our flat screen to a larger version with 3D and 4K. Hooked everything up and Blu-Ray movies and even regular HD cable channels looked great. Tried to play a 3D movie and then found out that the older Sony amp didn't support 3D video switching. It was Sunday afternoon and we wanted to get everything done that weekend. So we found this amp and (thankfully) found one in a local BB store. Hooked it up with some high-speed HDMI cables and we had lift off. 3D movie pass through worked great. Unexpectedly, I now notice more sounds during movies. Particularly with movies we already had. That impressed me. The only reason I didn't give this item 5 stars is because the Blue Tooth capability is very limited. You can connect a device (say an iPod) to the amp to play music through it. Unfortunately, it doesn't listening to movies or games through Blue Tooth headphones.

I am happy with the Amp.Sony has poor paper documentation etc. but easy to set up and a learning process to use all the features.

Have always loved sony receivers and this one is no exception! Great power, easy setup, and perfect smart functionality.

This is probably my 3rd SONY receiver. I have one in almost every room. (I'm a surround sound snob--why watch TV without it?). This one doesn't disappoint. I love the on screen menu functionality.

My THX certified amp just died one day after 2 years, so I went looking for a replacement. This amp not only met my expectations but pleasantly surprised me with with its RMS power. It 's relays are loud when turned on but after that , its an incredible value for the dollar. Highly recommended, does not have all the extra bells and whistles but it does what it I expect it to do.
