The composite audio/video inputs do NOT get converted to HDMI. This seems to be a common misconception. You will still have to run a video RCA-jack cable from the receiver to the TV, and still have to switch TV input/source for that kind of signal source.

It is so easy to use and setup My kids could have done it. I love how sony blends everything together to blend all my components together. I would recommend this product to anybody looking for great sound at a low price.

I returned both. The interface is clunky and sound is dismal. Can not handle music at all. Their are better AVR's for the same or just a little bit more. Do yourself a favor and read reviews, do research before buying.
