Had to return this receiver as it would not work with our current sub woofer. Sucks because it was on a good sale and the store did not have any more in stock to offer an exchange to see if it was just a problem with the receiver. Geek squad did not have the equipment to test it out to see if it was working. Found it a week later back on the shelf as an open box discounted item. Awful

I was able to attach everything without too much trouble, which believe me is saying something. Sound comes through clearly, I don't use it for anything other than music choices so I cannot comment on the movie quality, but music wise it is great.

This receiver works well at integrating multiple input devices and a surround-sound speaker system. Bluetooth capability and ability to control from my smart phone are a big plus. Lack of capability to switch between 2 or more sets of speakers (i.e, A and B systems) is a negative - but not a major one.

Wonderful receiver! Works perfectly with my new 4K 65" TV.. True 4K quality, I simply love it! If I could change only ONE thing; is that it doesn't have "up-convert". BUT, If you spend the type of money I do when buying the top of the line electronics, then this is just for you!

Well it does not come with a manual on how to operate it, I purchased a manual for $26, but it wasn't a manual. It literally took me 9 months to figure out how to operate it

I purchased this system as a low end replacement supporting some older components. It does everything I was expecting, was easy to set up - the speaker connections are very easy to use - in general this is a good basic system.

Running this in my theatre room with in ceiling speakers, sony center channel and a monoprice sub. Works great for my application. Bluetooth streaming is flawless. No issues at all, incredible valie at this price point.

Just purchased as AV amp to power external Klipsch bookshelf speakers & sub-woofer. It has sufficient power and control buttons make sense. Install easy. Am hooking it up to Sony 4K TV. So far, so good. Great picture and great sound.

When shopping for things like this definitely way the options. If you don't need wifi connection on your receiver why pay for it. This unit has plenty of power to run even the biggest speakers. Also easy setup with the included mic

I bought this over 2 weeks ago and I have not had any problems yet. I didn't need the biggest and baddest receiver I just needed one to be able to hook up my outdoor speakers and speakers in my living room and this has worked great.

Nice for a nice price. Replaced my Yamaha that broke (10yrs old; loved it). Tried to buy another one but it broke on me in 2 months. So I went to Sony....I like it but the sound on my Yamaha is missed.

The first unit we purchased did not last as long as anticipated. I've had Pioneer products before, but they lasted longer than the extended warranty; the unit that was replaced did not.

I got all of the features I was looking for and the price was the best around. The quality of my picture increased exponentially by going from component to HDMI. The sound separation is also very good.

This came with no instructions on how to use the remote or how to program in radio stations. So when I turn it on and want to change stations then I have to go to the receiver and do it manually.

It does what you want it to do. It has true standby so you don't have to turn it on every time you want to watch TV. As with most AV systems they over complicate them; specifically direct sound.

It is better and easier to set up than Yamaha but still having problems getting the unit to work with my computer and surround sound system and TV.

This receiver does everything I want it to do and a whole lot more. I'm so glad I chose this one. Was well advised by the folks at Best Buy

This is the second Sony receiver that we have purchased. We had another brand for a few years but it did not last. We decided to go back to what we knew worked well and lasted.

Good solid receiver for entry level...Bluetooth and nfc are a plus...wish there is network port or wifi built in..
