Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this AV Receiver to go with a new Sony Bravia 40" TV; my old AV Receiver was component only. After running a few Blu-ray movies thru it, I'm glad I upgraded. Easy to set up, but you can download the full manual at https://docs.sony.com if you think you'll need it. Four HDMI in, one out; composite and component, two optical, one coax sound inputs, plus standard stereo inputs as well. Simplified remote, and a very cool auto calibration system using a microphone to set the speaker levels for where you sit in the room. Picture shows no degradation going thru the box; sound is EXCELLENT and very live in timbre. There's a convenient full-size headphone jack on the front, along with one USB port into which you can plug just about any MP3 player using a USB connection, including i-devices. The one-touch Bluetooth connection to a compatible device is so easy a caveman could do it. I'm now sorry I waited so long to swap, but the new TV kind of forced my hand. I'm glad it did!
