Great for about anyone, simple setup and use... looks nice and has the power.

My old Yamaha finally gave out and chose this to upgrade my entertainment system. Plenty of hdmi outputs make it convenient to add multiple devices. Great sound with bluetooth.

very easy to set up and sounded better than my older sony that I replaced. only set up 5.1 as others not needed. Bluetooth is nice

Receiver has more than adequate power to drive my home 7.2 surround sound system that includes Polk Blackstone TL1900 5.1 & JLB Loft 50 floor standing Front Speakers. Great sound!

It provides great sound and doubles as a HDMI switcher so I only have one cable going to my tv. Can also control unit via Bluetooth from my phone.

Needed a new receiver to go with Sony 4k TV that would work with pass through. Love this as I don't have to have receiver on to simply pass through to TV for news programs. Wish it had a few more functions but 4 price it is great. Got on sale and it does everything I need to plus it has Bluetooth which connected easily to my phone. One negative is lack of composite video connections if hooking up to an old component that doesn't use HDMI. At least having one of these would have been nice so I could run it all through receiver. Again, I guess price compromise.

I like the sound and the Bluetooth Audio capability is great for playing tunes from your iPhone, iRadio or any other source!

Great sound, enough power to have a party, I am using it to get sound in back yard with 6 speakers, is definitely doing the job.

Great receiver. Had all the features that I wanted/needed. The setup was easy. I am very pleased with the sound quality.

This is an excellent receiver for the audiophile beginning to put together a surround sound system for the family room or a "Man Cave". Ample HDMI inputs for the most commonly used devices (TV, DVD/CD player, Satellite Receiver, Gaming System, Turntable, etc.). Bluetooth capability very handy for pairing iPod for use during party. Currently Monitor Audio speakers made in England being used with Receiver -- sounds incredible!

We love this item. The Bluetooth feature allows for remote play and control. The sound is great and plenty of power.

This receiver came with all of the features I was looking for. Very happy with product and quality. Be sure to use good HDMI cords to obtain the quality!

I purchased this Sony AVR to replace another Sony receiver. This one so far is so much better. More bang for your buck. Tons of features and more power.

I bought this unit to replace my 15+ year old Sony ES receiver. While my old ES receiver still has a better amp and sound quality, you'd have to be an audophile to notice these minute details. I simply wanted a new received that had HDMI inputs, HDMI pass-thru, and any extras that came along with it. My sole purpose was to be able to get Dolby Digital on my streaming services, which I couldn't do on my old receiver. I got everything that I wanted, and it was super cheap. In fact, this is the cheapest receiver at this price point that also has the most features as well. Many features like bluetooth, the phone/tablet remote control app, MHL, are great to have but I likely won't use that much to be honest. Anyway, I guess I can't really complain much since I got what I wanted for less than $300. Getting a new ES unit would've been about $1k. I do wish it had more display options either on-screen or on the unit itself. Plus a better remote.

Easy hookup to TV, BlueRay and speakers. Added a Sony RM-VLZ620 remote control which replaced the 3 remote controllers, and after minimal time to get familiar with the remote I was very happy with the ease of use. The sound produced great deep base as well as the mid and upper frequencies. Good thing about Best Buy is that all the items were in stock. Cables required were the 1 optical for TV to amp. HDMI from AMP to TV and HDMI from BLURAY to AMP. Amp runs hot at full base and loud volume. I don't need loud volumes.

This receiver has plenty of power for regular listening. The price is right. There are a lot of features which is convenient to use.

Easy set-up with the exception of accessing an on screen set-up menu. The system sounds and looks great. Very user friendly.

Replaced existing home theater amp with the Sony. Integrated well into existing speaker system, simple setup, and supperior performance and sound.

The STRDH750 is a great choice for any stereo or home entertainment system. It has all the features you would want including wireless remote, plenty of good, clean wattage & all needed speaker hook - ups & combinations needed for various system speaker combos. I'm using it as a main amp for monitor system in a home studio powering 4 speakers and a sub woofer. It was easy & user friendly to wire up. I would definitely recommend it to anyone!

Replaced an Onkyo Receiver and find this one much more user friendly and with a better sound too.
