I've had this receiver for a few months now and I have no complaints. Easy to use, very responsive, terrific sound... overall a quality product.

My only complaint is Sony's lack of directions, vey few instructions to operate system. Unless you are knowledged with how to operate system you won't find out from Sony's manual. They put too much effort in printing in 3-4 languages instead of how and what about the unit

We were about to hook up to our new TV and our od speakers and sub. Sound quality is excellent and it was easy to install. Love it!

System provides easy set up, iPhone controllability and bluetooth connectivity for playing iTunes through your home theater system.

So I got this receiver as an open box when on sale so for the price it's amazing. I was able to get a 7.2 system for under $200 that has 2 speaker zones. That in itself makes this a steal. I'm not in the market right now to have a couple thousand dollar system setup. I wanted to go cheap price wise but not quality wise and I can say I'm pretty happy with this receiver and I'm picky. So I do have one complaint: on the remote it has a button for every input EXCEPT Bluetooth which is annoying cause I listen to music via Bluetooth a lot. There is a button on the front to select it but obviously I don't want to have to get up every time I want to listen to music. The other option which doesn't require getting up but is a bit of a hassle is going in my phones setting, selecting Bluetooth, selecting the device, waiting for it to connect, waiting for the Sony app to realize it's connected then asking me if the app can open, waiting for the app to load and then selecting the input through the app to switch to Bluetooth. It sounds like a lot but it really only takes 45-60 secs but doing so several times a day whenever you want to switch to Bluetooth can get annoying. I wish there was just a Bluetooth button on the remote and the receiver would connect with the most recent paired device.

This is a great receiver that supports 7.2 surround sound. I only have 5.1 and it sounds great and communicates between devices well. Unlike some receivers, it will not push sound to all speakers if the content is not 5.1 (like some tv channels). The only gripe I have is that the receiver does not have a built in amplifier for the subwoofer outputs. You must purchase an amplifier or a powered subwoofer to have that output. That is not clear on the box.

It gives great sound, and has a lot of features for a receiver. It helps make our surround sound work well.

Has the bells and whistles like Bluetooth and aux and good watts for each channel for a low power stereo

In general, a good receiver with good sound. A couple of things that could be improved: every time you turn it on/off you have to pair it again with whatever bluetooth device you're using with it. It doesn't connect automatically, you have to manually press the bluetooth button in the receiver. Also, pretty much every function that you can adjust can only be done using the remote. I had a JVC and you could adjust also manually.

I bought this to replace my older receiver for my home sound system. I am very pleased with the quality and the easy setup.

Works just great.I always buy Sony and never have gone wrong. Its works for 3D,Ultra 4K.and gives my system a great sound.

Excellent sounding receiver with more-than-adequate power for the price. Great picture quality during pass through.

This receiver is easy to work and it make my 4k TV and surround sound Bose speakers sound great.

Purchased this receiver to replace my (going-in-and-out) Kenwood receiver. Used my existing Kenwood 8ohm 100watt speakers, minus the non-powered sub-woofer. Had to replace it so I chose the Sony Core Series 10" 115W Active Subwoofer Black SACS9. Could not be happier with the sound. We could crank up the sound, and people in the neighborhood would think a concert was taking place!

This amp has everything you need for a small theater. 7.2 capability, Bluetooth capability and pushes out clean sound.

You won't be disappointed in this receiver. Not difficult to figure out and it has four HDMI outputs on the back.

Easy to use. Bought as a christmas gift for husband. Really enjoys I phone bluetooth capabilites

So far the unit has performed very well. Sound is strong and ease of operation is welcome.
