Installed at Best Buy. Was installed quickly 1.5 hours, staff was pleasant, knowledgeable. Receiver has great sound with stock 2013 GMC Sierra speakers. Plan is for new speakers in future but overall happy with purchase and Best Buy service.

When my wife sent me out to find a replacement radio for her Commander she specified it must have a knob. There aren't many radios around with knobs anymore, and I think this may be the best of the bunch. The Commander had a solid radio infrastructure; the Sony made it sound even better. Buy it if you can find it.

Installation. was straightforward, a good fit into the bay, and by reusing the support brackets, didn't require additional parts. It works pretty well but there is some confusion that happens when turned off and powered back up(such as when starting the engine). Carplay hangs, then apps like Pandora get stuck and don't play. Not sure if this is the radio or my phone, but otherwise all is well

No android auto

I, however, find it to be discriminatory, as it has Apple Carplay but no android auto? I mean, Sony's phones are android. You would think their receivers would support their own phones. Someone in product and design really missed the mark.
