This was perfect for her car and it was installed at Best Buy. We made an appointment for the technician there to install the camera. He did a great job and I have a very happy granddaughter.

Intuitive Functions

It works good and looks good! The touch screen is responsive. One down side is the Bluetooth will only pair with one phone. Anyone else that drives the vehicle can use CarPlay though without setting up Bluetooth.

I wanted a nice OEM look with Carplay standard. Sony delivered. The unit is understated but powerful and feature packed. I would recommend this to anyone!

I like that it has a volume dial. I got a right angle plug USB cable so that the cable doesn't get in the way of the dial. Minor complaint is that the screen is a little too dim for very bright days.

I use my “Car Play” from my IPhone 12. I have upgraded to 18.3 with no issues. The front usb port is a plus to load a drive with MP3s. The tuner is quick with no static on all FM programmable stations. Only drawback is hard to read in bright sunlight. The Home Screen provides a large clock. I highly recommend. Installed by Geek Squad.

Love the easy interface with Apple Car Play. Gave it 4 stars instead of 5 solely because the the lightning cable must be direct connected to the unit rather than the one in the console, or wirelessly thru Bluetooth. Small price to pay for a major upgrade though.

The geek squad was awesome and fast with the installation. I was looking for something that could play my Apple Music account plus the added Bluetooth speaker is great as well.

Installation was very easy using the Metra panel and wire harness kits for Honda. Works great. got it for $219.99 during black Friday sales at BB.

Im glad it has a knob fo4 the volume because i find it pretty dangerous everything is touch screen these days and as a cdl d4iver i like to have something to feel for instead of looking down at the screen so i can keep my eyes on the road where they should be

I've seen the reviews about the screen being slow to respond, or not bright enough and I haven't had these issues. Plug in the lightning cable and CarPlay fires right up. Unlike the radio this unit replaced, it sounds better, is responsive and does exactly what it's supposed to do. For the money I highly recommend.

New technology for older vehicle

This newer technology allows for proper and legal use of the I-Phone because of the “Bluetooth” connection. The new and stricter California law that went into force on January 1st dictated this purchase. Huge fines if caught with phone in hand or in use. This stereo resolved that issue.

We are sorry to hear that the Apple CarPlay connection is suddenly failing after less than a year, as that is a critical feature of the receiver. This connection issue can often be resolved with a simple reset. Please try pressing and holding the HOME button on the stereo for about 10 seconds until the unit fully reboots. If that does not resolve the issue, try using a different, high-quality Apple-certified Lightning cable, as connection issues are often caused by cable failure. If the problem continues, you may need to update the stereo's firmware to ensure compatibility with your current iOS version, and you can find the latest update on the Sony support page for your model.
