It has apple car play which is great for maps and listening to Apple Music play lists. Having the port on the front of the radio makes it very convenient.

Does what it needs to, but dont get fooled by the price. This will cost you over $700 with the “free installation”. Its not free, in fact youll pay almost $200 in installation fees. Also, want your steering wheel controls to work, $100. Its “backup camera ready”, but if you want to use your backup camera, tack on another $50. Free Sirius for 3 months, but youll hafta buy the Sirius tuner along with it. Wiring harness, adapters, everything else to install, keep adding. I wish this thing was awesome enough to justify putting $700 into my car, but its not. Far from it.

We installed the system, it works well though sometimes on a call it has a lot of background noise (sounds like dialing into aol circa 1998) or calls drop. The map feature and everything else work great.

Regarding the background noise issues during calls, this could be related to the connection method or the condition of the cables used. For a USB connection, we recommend using a new, shorter cable, preferably a Lightning® cable manufactured by Apple if you are using an iPhone. For wireless connections, try re-pairing your smartphone with the car stereo by deregistering the device from both the car stereo and the smartphone, then pairing them again.

The features included are bluetooth , apple car play and aux. Bought it specifically for Apple Car Play works great! I like how you can customize the wallpaper, in other words 5 colors to choose from. Nice look on the stereo looks super modern and Sony designed it to look good. Love the stereo , installed myself not very hard to do.

First, I had some major issues with getting this shipped to me on time for my installation appointment. I was notified that the product would not be shipped to me on time (I booked the appt. 2 weeks in advance) so I had to drive and pick up this up from another store MYSELF so that I wouldn't miss my installation date. Turns out the one I purchased was defective. I only got this installed today after initially purchasing OVER 4 WEEKS AGO. The only reason I did not give up and return the whole set is because the installation technician named TOM at the Perimeter store was so nice and helpful that he gave me hope. He went above and beyond to go pick up a new one for me after he realized the one I picked up was defective, and he worked overtime to troubleshoot all of the problems. He also did some light cleaning of my vehicle with his extra time because he felt so bad for me after coming in multiple times with all of these issues. BEST BUY you need to do better. I will not be purchasing any more products from you after this mess. And you need to give the installation tech Tom a pay raise because you don't want to lose a good employee like that. He is the only reason I did not return over $350 of product because of Best Buy's incompetence.

It fits almost perfectly, and the install was super easy. This gives me the access I wanted/needed for google maps, calls, and voice to text with Siri. I believe it is also compatible with a back up camera but I did not purchase that item. I caught this on sale too so I was extremely pleased with the price!

This Sony radio is great. I mainly use the CarPlay feature but it also has Bluetooth and am fm as well. Make sure latest software is installed if not apple CarPlay won’t work properly. Other than that it’s a great upgrade
