Got this for my son to put in his 1990 miata and it fit great and he loves it

The product is great... if it works. First, I had some major issues with getting this shipped to me on time for my installation appointment. I was notified that the product would not be shipped to me on time (I booked the appt. 2 weeks in advance) so I had to drive and pick up this up from another store MYSELF so that I wouldn't miss my installation date. Turns out the one I purchased was defective. I only got this installed today after initially purchasing OVER 4 WEEKS AGO. The only reason I did not give up and return the whole set is because the installation technician named TOM at the Perimeter store was so nice and helpful that he gave me hope. He went above and beyond to go pick up a new one for me after he realized the one I picked up was defective, and he worked overtime to troubleshoot all of the problems. He also did some light cleaning of my vehicle with his extra time because he felt so bad for me after coming in multiple times with all of these issues. BEST BUY you need to do better. I will not be purchasing any more products from you after this mess. And you need to give the installation tech Tom a pay raise because you don't want to lose a good employee like that. He is the only reason I did not return over $350 of product because of Best Buy's incompetence.

Great product for the money. Was very easy to install and am very happy with the purchase. The screen isn’t the greatest but is really no big deal. The product works well and does meet my expectations for what I paid.

Love this. Easy to use. The dictation is not the best it cuts me off almost every single time and I’ve had to buy several cords for the apply play to stay connected. The screen is so bright even when the dimmer is on.

I purchased this headunit for a 14 year old car and it has thoroughly transformed my experience. I enjoy it immensely. For the most part it works well. I do have one issue however. When you plug the phone into the unit the carplay app pops up and the head unit goes into carplay mode. Sometimes this fails. I have found that if I do a hard reset of the phone (hold down the home and (oh what is the name of that other button) to reset the phone it then works as it should. At least this is what I did the last time this issue came up. My suspicion is that this is an iPhone problem rather than a head unit problem but I can't be 100% sure. Finally, in order to have a better experience, I recommend getting a cord with a right angle on the USB end. That way it does not protrude from the head unit as much as regular Thunderbolt cables without the right angle. Finally, Finally. . . it was the most inexpensive unit I could find from a reputable brand!

Bought this for my husband for Hanukkah. He's just moved to town and his car stereo wasn't Bluetooth equipped. He'd been talking about how he hated trying to figure out where to put his phone so he could see the navigation. Thad was a perfect solution. He loves the apple play and the big display screen.

Easy install. Great so far and apple car play works great.

I purchased this for my 2002 CRV. It fits almost perfectly, and the install was super easy. This gives me the access I wanted/needed for google maps, calls, and voice to text with Siri. I believe it is also compatible with a back up camera but I did not purchase that item. I caught this on sale too so I was extremely pleased with the price!

This stereo has been so useful and great replacement for my car.

Excellent radio. Works as described. Easy to install with the correct dash kit. Only down fall is you have to buy a extra satellite tuner for Sirus XM due to being only satellite ready.

This was an upgrade for the stock radio. Car play works very well, and I like that it has a volume knob. The screen does seem to get washed out in bright sunlight.

I have a 2014 Mitsubishi Lancer Stock radio was getting old. This Sony radio is great. I mainly use the CarPlay feature but it also has Bluetooth and am fm as well. Make sure latest software is installed if not apple CarPlay won’t work properly. Other than that it’s a great upgrade

Got this on sale for $250. Absolutely great stereo. Have bought two and had no issues. Car play is easy to set up and the EQ is very useful. Instructions for wiring were very clear. Would recommend!

Replaced factory radio it has great output and sound quality is very good. You can use the factory EQ setting or adjust to your own sounds. The only draw back I can find so far is you are unable to dim the screen at night

Simple, intuitive, dependable - It has a lot more features than my standard Subaru head unit so replacing it with this one was an easy decision instead of getting a new factory unit. Apple car play is really helpful and wonderful. Overall, great purchase.

Loved this radio. The built-in amplifier is amazing it’s One of the best I’ve seen, love having a knob for volume control only wish It had a USB input in the rear and had wireless CarPlay

I had this installed in a 06 Trailblazer. A big step up, Works and sounds great even through a Minnesota winter. All features work great. (I'm android so not using Apple car play)

Like the product and all the features it offers especially the car play. The only issue I've had so far is the car play crashed and wouldn't come up until the radio was turned off and then back on. I could only find a way to do this by shutting the car off.

This is a great radio to add CarPlay and other modern audio capabilities to an older car. Everything works great including rear camera functionality. I've had no issues and hope this lasts as long as my other Sony products. It's been a year and everything still works great.
