We bought this radio for the Apple Car Play feature for our new driver. We have an older car, and this radio is perfect for the driver to answer calls hands free, but more importantly, to be able to use the navigation from the phone.

Bought this for my husband for Hanukkah. He's just moved to town and his car stereo wasn't Bluetooth equipped. He'd been talking about how he hated trying to figure out where to put his phone so he could see the navigation. Thad was a perfect solution. He loves the apple play and the big display screen.

I purchased this headunit for a 14 year old car and it has thoroughly transformed my experience. I enjoy it immensely. For the most part it works well. I do have one issue however. When you plug the phone into the unit the carplay app pops up and the head unit goes into carplay mode. Sometimes this fails. I have found that if I do a hard reset of the phone (hold down the home and (oh what is the name of that other button) to reset the phone it then works as it should. At least this is what I did the last time this issue came up. My suspicion is that this is an iPhone problem rather than a head unit problem but I can't be 100% sure. Finally, in order to have a better experience, I recommend getting a cord with a right angle on the USB end. That way it does not protrude from the head unit as much as regular Thunderbolt cables without the right angle. Finally, Finally. . . it was the most inexpensive unit I could find from a reputable brand!

Like the product and all the features it offers especially the car play. The only issue I've had so far is the car play crashed and wouldn't come up until the radio was turned off and then back on. I could only find a way to do this by shutting the car off.

This was definitely a great update for my car. The audio quality is on point and the CarPlay features works like a charm. Iba had no issues at all with this unit. Totally recommended.

Bought this system to replace the broken stereo in our 2005 CRV and man do we love it! Not only is it a tremendous upgrade, but the sound output is incredible, it’s easy to use and we especially love the in-dash navigation. Sure is nice to have the ability to make hands-free phone calls now too. Makes our older car feel like a whole new vehicle.

Great head unit! I had it installed in a 2010 Toyota Corolla S and it was just perfect! Did the install myself.

Easy to operate looks great easy install & programming.

Simple, intuitive, dependable - It has a lot more features than my standard Subaru head unit so replacing it with this one was an easy decision instead of getting a new factory unit. Apple car play is really helpful and wonderful. Overall, great purchase.

Pairs with my iPhone easy and allows me to access control last with little effort, thanks to steering wheel control buttons.

This is a great radio to add CarPlay and other modern audio capabilities to an older car. Everything works great including rear camera functionality. I've had no issues and hope this lasts as long as my other Sony products. It's been a year and everything still works great.

No issues thus far. Only minor complaint is the volume knob is a bit small, but it allows for the larger screen. Installed in 2010 Nissan Titan

This head unit works well and looks good in the vehicle. Equalizer is a plus. Missed the 5 star because of a tiny volume knob. Like really tiny. Why there’s no volume control using the touch screen baffles.

I’m so happy to have purchased this Sony Car stereo unit. It’s a fantastic upgrade in my 2008 Toyota. Sounds great and looks sleek and it blends well with the car too!

Replaced factory radio it has great output and sound quality is very good. You can use the factory EQ setting or adjust to your own sounds. The only draw back I can find so far is you are unable to dim the screen at night

Great product for the money. Was very easy to install and am very happy with the purchase. The screen isn’t the greatest but is really no big deal. The product works well and does meet my expectations for what I paid.
