Siri will take care of everything and ask you to confirm the spoken text for correctness then ask again before it sends. "Maps" are always up to date. Listen to your own music or use the built in radio, which I do while driving for "breaking news".

I dont like having a microphone installed in the corner of the cab and l had to more material to have the back up camera connected. I just should have waited.

I WILL NEVER BUY SONY AGAIN!

The CarPlay only connects about 65% of the time and I’m using a brand new genuine Apple cord. In an experiment in our other vehicle using the same cord, my phone connects 100% of the time. So, obviously this radio is garbage and now I’m out $317 because I can’t return it. I will never by Sony again!

Good radio but price is steep
