The reason for the purchase was to have satellite radio had to make additional purchase after the install to be able to have satellite. The unit that was installed does not have a CD player. I am not very up to date on today’s electronics but made it very clear what I wanted Went to Best Buy instead of a audio store. My mistake

Very happy with the radio but not so much with the “free installation “. I was told 1 1/2 hours to install and it took 4 hours the first day and I had to go back on a Sunday morning for another hour to finish.

Great sound and I enjoy the features. I would highly recommend.

I returned this item. I was told it had video playback through apple car play but it does not. In my opinion why have a nice double din touch screen that cannot play video? It had some nice features otherwise - just not what I was looking for.

Went out when my battery went out and had to jump car off with jumper cables. Screen flashes all the time now. And you have to switch it back and forth to change songs. It flashes adds the whole time and is destructing especially at night. I would never buy this ever again. Disappointed in a Sony product.

This was to be part of a kit but the salesman didn’t confirm it would work with the kit. Nothing on the radio itself but Best Buy needs training. And don’t display radios you don’t have or can’t get because the company pays you to do so unless that stipend is more valuable than your reputation.

Works ok Bluetooth has problems with iPhone radio is good

Works good, but is unreliable some time with CarPlay connectivity.

I have to plug and unplug my iPhone multiple times before it engages CarPlay, also the screen is too dim to see anything driving in the daytime, even at its brightest setting.

This radio was supposed to be stellar, when listening tk the tuner am/fm radio you can crank the volume up lod as you want, HOWEVER, I bought this so i could play my phone over the radio and if the volume goes above 20 it shuts the radio down. To be clear 20 is not even 1/3 of the wayup.... i brought it back yo best buy where the tech who installed it said it was the dso protection built in to the unit, so we turned it off. The sound quality was terrible and it still did not fix the problem. I am going to return or exchange this as soon as best buy opens up the stereo installation booths again.... hoghly disappointing that SONY would be so terrible.

Sound is good, display is basic at best. Clock is off all the time. By hours! I get a no video available all the time. To use Apple Car you must plug in no Bluetooth.

The unit barely works at all, the volume knob doesn't work so I can only turn it down or up with the remote. The home button doesn't work and I have to unplug my iphone to get back to the menu. Unfortunately I waited too long to install this unit and it is no longer returnable, lesson learned but now I have a 400 dollar paper weight, I have to replace it because it's that bad.

I own a Sony XAVAX100, which I purchased last year and I use for my Android device (it has Android Auto comparability). I went into a store, found the exact same model on display showing the Android Auto logo. I ordered it and waited 2 weeks for it to be delivered. My wife had it installed in her car and lo-and-behold we got the XAVAX1000 (not the 100) as they discontinued the older model and Best Buy didn't update any of their signage. The technician had to uninstall the unit and we had to order another one. A complete waste of time.

Units touch screen dead after less than 2 years. Installed in a vehicle that doesn’t get much use so it’s got very few hours on the unit.

For the price I feel this unit dull and bland. Very little technology. A very basic media player. Spend your money on the better units.

Didn't like it, would whisper the first few words when reading a text, don't know if it was defective but returned it

I was very thrilled about this new system. I have an 09' sentra and the new interface completely updated my car! Thanks Best Buy!

The stereo works great, but before they installed it they did not tell me that none of my USB ports in my vehicle would work afterwards. I would not have gotten it if they would have informed me before the installation.
