She is thrilled to have this new Sony player in. The sound, access to maps and music form her phone. Wow! Best Buy did an awesome job installing. Thank you !

The only thing I would dock for is the screen, it needs a harder touch to change the song or change from Bluetooth to CarPlay.

Good unit for the price

It operates smoothly and doesn’t have any issues switching to CarPlay or back to regular radio and having the usb port right in the front makes it super convenient. My only issue with it is that during the day when it’s sunny out the display doesn’t get bright enough for me. You can still see it ok but it’s not bright like other vehicles I own.

The fact that this super-modern device could be installed in my 20 year old Honda catapulted my driving into the 21st century. Now I have GPS and access to my music collection without a pile of fragile CD's. Cost me more to install it than to buy it, but worth every penny so far. The combination of the device's smarts with the iPhone's with Car Play can't be beat.

I had this installed in May 2019 and I can get the CarPlay to activate about 1 out of 10 tries. I've tried several different cables but have to plug and unplug to eventually get it to recognize the phone. Frustrating as that is the main reason I bought this unit. I've seen multiple people mention some POSSIBLE firmware update but haven't seen a true resolution yet. I hate to return this but this is a real turn off.
