Just got back from a trip up to NC so I had a chance to use the new Apple Car Play. It works better than the factory stuff. Never touched my IPhone and got up to date map data, make and receive texts and phone calls totally hands free.

Awesome radio. Sure, it has its bugs and hiccups from time to time, but nothing unplugging and Re-plugging your phone won’t fixed. Screen isn’t glass but it’s also not priced like glass. Very competent radio for the money, Apple CarPlay will change your life.

I'm an installer and haven't been impressed by Sony in a long time. Although this unit isn't perfect, I really like it a lot. Has all of the features I was looking for, in a price that was right. Sound quality isn't quite as good as my old Alpine, but it's certainly not bad.

Comes loaded with tons of features! One of the only double din radios that had command bottons(I'm old school that way) and android auto. Touchscreen and bluetooth work flawlessly. Like I said, for the money, I'd definitely buy this again!

First of all the night mode doesn't automatically turn on, that's a huge problem. It's quick enough and has Android Auto and Carplay. But sometimes I'm in Android Auto and it will just decide to play the FM radio while Android Auto is open. Not sure why it thinks that's the right decision.

Got this unit for a great price during Christmas sales and got free install from geeksquad. Simple to use and all the basic features needed. Only thing I didn't realize was that this unit isn't compatible with the add on sirius module.

I love the Carplay function, reason I bought it was to try it out, easy to use, I like the knob for the volume rather than buttons. Has enough RCA outputs for front, rear, sub. Nice, big display to read from. I would buy this again for another car!

Love this reciever! Super responsive, can’t even tell it’s a resistive display. If you want a receiver with a clean and modern interface, this is it. The mob also makes it very easy to call on Siri and adjust volume.

Looking for a budget-friendly Android/Car Play unit for my car was easy, Sony offered the best product/price balance. The screen can be improved in next iterations and I'll appreciate an upgrade in size, but overall, it's a great product and works awesome.

I replaced my $1000 radio with this for strictly the CarPlay function. I never use CD's to the lack of a CD drive didnt bother me. For the price this is a well built unit that sounds great. I use it daily and its nice to have a true voice controlled setup.

Getting this Android Auto unit for the price was an absolute steal. I love everything about it. Just make sure you have a USB cable with 3.1 transfer rate and your good to go otherwise you will have constant disconnects

Receiver seems to work well has good sound. The voice control with Android works very well. The volume button is somewhat small and hard to utilize. It would be nice if it had an AUX input but unfortunately it doesn't. Good value for the price.

Got me out of the Stone Age. Looks perfect works amazing and is super convenient. I couldn’t be happier....now if there were a more basic equalizer with bass and treble, but maybe they’ll do that in firmware.

This stereo works great for smartphone users. I have an android it works perfect with android auto. I would think iPhones work just as good. The display also is very bright so no issue with glare. Very easy to use.

Fantastic head unit for a great Android Auto experience. I purchased this for a road trip up and back down the east coast, and it didn't disappoint me. The only gripe I have is with Bluetooth call quality. It is very jittery.
