I could not stand the OEM radio for one minute and within 24 hours of getting the truck- I made this online in store pickup order. I did a lot of research within that day and determined based on the reviews, videos and price point that this would do the job— and it has - over a month later!

Andriod auto and apple car play work perfect and sound out of this radio is excellent. Radio does not scratch and holds up well over time unlike other radios from other manufactures. Would buy again.

Great car stereo replacement for older vehicle!

I've been waiting for months to have Best Buy install my new Sony stereo and today it's finally complete! I own my car but I knew I wanted a new updated stereo without having to start car payments all over. And here's the finished project. 2 questions though, even when parked how do you play the games preinstalled and how do you get YouTube to show video not just audio?

I can now confirm this is a receiver hardware issue, not a phone issue. When the Sony unit crashes, Google Maps continues to navigate perfectly on my phone screen in my hand. The phone is doing its job, but the Sony unit fails to maintain the video/data link. I have already: Updated to Firmware v2.00 (June 2024 patch). Purchased high-end, shielded cables from US Cellular. Verified that Apple CarPlay works without a single hitch. This model seems to have an underpowered USB controller that can't handle the data/voltage demands of modern Android phones. If you use Android, stay away from this model or prepare to buy a wireless adapter to bypass the faulty physical connection.

Brought my cadillacs bose sound system to life. Does not so wireless android auto or carplay. Touch screen leaves a bit to be desired.

Initially when the order is placed online, the website didnot show up the additional components like Universal Analog Steering Wheel Interface that is mandatory to work with the factory steering controls. I had to make multiple appointments to make the steering wheel controls works due to limited slots available which is expected as the installation is free which otherwise would have to spend 10's or 100's of dollars with outside car audio installation stores. So worth spending time and understand the product and work with the Geeksquad team to get your expectations met. Finally im happy as its just one week old on my Toyota Camry 2016 and got rid of all those phone mounts to hook the phone for maps navigation.
