Everything seemed to work as expected except for android auto. I've been using the wireless bluetooth connection to play music which is very hit or miss. I'm just now realizing that this unit does not offer "wireless" android auto. They expect you to keep it connected through usb the entire time. No where is the description or the specifications of this product do they make this clear. Even the installer didn't make this clear. He connected the phone for a few seconds to sync it with the unit, then disconnected it and played music through my spotify. Had I known this unit was wired connection only, then I would not have purchased it. I'm feeling very disappointed and very misled on this purchase. I also consider the options for adjusting the sound quality to be sub-par at best.

Additionally, we regret to hear that you are not satisfied with the sound quality options.

If you want to use Android Auto wirelessly, we recommend our models XAV-AX4000 or XAV-AX6000.
