There was a need for slight modification of my dash (1999 F-150) but all in all it had all the features I wanted with a straight forward user interface.

Very simpleton functions. And 4 days after the 30 day fresh buy window. The unit started doing weird stuff. Like randow power failures and self reset. No button response. Switching and getting stuck on rear camera visual with no button response. Only thing to correct this when happening was to shut the vehicle off and power back on. Sometimes it worked sometimes it didn't. Black screen sometimes with audio sometimes without. Anyhow i didnt purchase any extended warranty and best buy says sorry im up creek without a paddle. Which i almost cant even believe. But i also kind of get it. So now im on the line with sony trying to get refunded under a manufacturer defect. To which they have agreed to. But instead of refunding my money, the only thing they are doing is sending me a new radio. So now I need to try and sell it online to make any kind of money back. Smh

Screen is Very Dim, can't see on sunny days

I can't see it all with sun and sunglasses, which is a problem in So Cal. If you live somewhere that is super gloomy (here's looking at you, Pacific Northwest), this could be a good unit, but I wouldn't recommend it for anywhere that gets a fair amount of sun.
