I’m not sure if this is a specific fit to my 2004 Honda Pilot but my previous receiver of a similar size did not have that issue…

First I wasn't told it didn't play cd/dvd's, then the video feature is only available in park with the emergency brake set (a waste of a video feature). Other units display a Warning then let you choose to play the video or not, so if you're traveling and your passengers would like some video entertainment they better have a tablet or cell phone.

So I had to go back to get the other tech to fix it, and 2nd he removed my north carolina tar heels tag because he put the new camera there. But overall the radio works fine. just they had a better option to change my presets. I had to hit some preset option to where it automatically searches for the station. Some reason it does not pick up my local hip hop stations.

Went for my installation and no one was working that day. I had received 9 emails to make sure I was on time. Wasted my whole afternoon. Then went to second appointment and they claimed I wasn’t on the schedule. Got it out in, but was a hassle the whole time. Probably the last thing I purchase from best buy

Others may have had a different experience than us. The unit had problems from day one. We had to send it back twice to be tested, and they finally decided it was defective. While Sony has a good name, I would steer clear of this unit and go with the next level up.
