    Horrible radio. Turns off randomly on its own and takes a very long time to come back on. Usb works intermittently and the radio will not allow me to update it. No matter what usb or format I use. Waste of money.

    I have gone through two of these units. When it works, its awesome. Screen is large and bright, colors are solid, pretty responsive, all around a good purchase. But inevitably, with both units, they end up struggling to send a signal to my aftermarket subs and car speakers. I dont know exactly whats happening with it, because it still works in terms of playing music and general function, but the speakers arent as loud all of a sudden and my subs dont work at all. This happened with the first unit which was replaced under Sony’s warranty, and its now happened with the second which is out of warranty. Not even two years later and I’ll need to replace it again. When it works, its great, but be aware that this could happen to you.

    I use to have a golfcart with a sony stereo so my experience with sony car audio is the best I recommend sony car audio to anyone it’s worth it

    Sound quality is great but the display is way too dim and hard to see unless you are looking straight at it and not from any angle. There is no brightness adjustment. I regret buying it.

    Trash. Was great when first installed but started to show wear within first year. And now after 4 years it started to glitch. Volume only turning up as high as possible and would not turn down/touch screen not responding. Cable for android connection stopped connecting well within first year. Stareted to short out and drain battery to point of having to jump car. Had to pull radio fuse. Now I sit in my cat with no stereo just like 21 pilots. And after getting a double din and wiring and install I spent close to $500 only to have to replace 4 yeats later.

    I spent last night and this morning comparing the audio receivers and backup cameras. I decided to go into this morning and make my purchase for both. Once I talked to a Rep, he went to computer to input the info for the items I selected along with any parts needed for the installation. After he did, he noticed that the installation charge was included. I told him, your website shows free installation. Well, he then started coming up with excuses, but finally said he would go check. He came back a while later and told me that they are going to charge me installation. I asked why does your website show free installation. I didn't get a good explanation, he just looked at me like I was the crazy one. He eventually called up two installers and we talked. They confirmed I have to pay installation. I mentioned to them your website shows it's FREE!! It didn't matter to them. I asked a few more questions to the installers and when they found out I am having it installed in a Corvette, they jumped in and said it's going to cost more. Why? It's a Corvette they said. I told them that it's not like they will be working on the engine. What I am upset about is that your website STILL says installation is free. When I take time to shop around I decide on what I want to buy according to the information I see listed on a website. I've gone in a couple of other times asking about having a receiver installed and neither time was I ever told that there is an upcharge for installation on a Corvette, nor have seen anything noted on your website. I've made many purchases from Best Buy for the past couple of decades. What happened? This is VERY disappointing. I will buy a new head unit and backup camera elsewhere.

    Excellent unit for my Ram truck. Paired it with a rear camera. Great value. Everything work’s perfectly. Navigation is very useful. Flash drive ready.

    Only one issue (apple car play ) won’t connect always like the should be If you just gonna use thi feature like don’t buy it I use a new oem apple cable!

    Inconsistent Carplay connection

    Unit does not always respond to iPhone, even though iPhone is connected to the unit's USB port; iPhone makes a sound and indicates it is charging, but the unit does not display the Carplay icon on the Home screen (this happens more than 50% of the time)

    Bought this item for my Toyota 4Runner after my original system died because this system came in highly recommended. I must say this has to be one of the worst products Sony makes. This system freezes up anytime I receive a phone call while my CarPlay navigation is running. Anytime it asks me if I would like to switch to CarPlay after I plug in my phone and I say no it automatically goes into CarPlay anyways. I have taken it back to Best Buy to have it "updated" yet it still performs the exact same way. Overall, the design of the system is not bad and it is easy to use it just doesn't work right half the time and would not recommend buying this. I have a Kenwood unit in my other vehicle and that works so much better.

    Had to wait 2 weeks for appointment just for bestbuy to not take out the money needed to get the hairness. Why not take out all the money for everything needed ? That makes 0 sense, I didn’t even eat notified of the situation until the day before and I HAD to call and see what was going on. Horrible customer service very frustrating.

    I'm hasving problems with the bluetooth conncetion asnd the Customer Service after the sale has been horrible. The Manager of the install department at the Beaverton Oregon Cedar Hills BLVD store was absolutely unwilling to work with me to have someone try to help me reconnect. Cold and rude... Never going back...

    I am not happy at all with this perches due to the fact that defective, and that you wont replace it because it has been over 30 days. It has been over 30 days because that is how long I had to wait for you hook it due to scheduling.
