Worked great for about 2 months. Bought this so my wife could have android auto in her older escape. What I thought would be a nice upgrade has been a nightmare. Carplay has worked fine for other people (we both use android) but android auto constantly stalls and reboots stalls and reboots. Ocasionally it will work for ten minutes and then stall again probably right when google maps needs to tell you a directoin. Taking it back to best buy for the 3rd time but hoping they let me get something else or replace it. FYI using pixel 3 updated to most recent apps. I have tried multiple android phones multiple cables updated firmware cleared caches on all apps. I even factory reset one of our phones in desperation. Miserable...

The CarPlay inconsistently works. When I called Best Buy the gentlemen said that’s why he doesn’t sell these anymore. Apparently there is a software defect. I was told to call Sony, and resetting to factory settings worked for one day and then car play stopped again. Too much trouble to return it and get a new radio but wouldn’t recommend it to anyone although it looks great in the car.

Sony 7" Carplay w/built in bluetooth- In Dash digital media receiver was purchased to upgrade a 2007 Chevy Silverado Pick up truck. We installed the system in a day's time with and now enjoy listening to my playlists from my phone or USB drive. A great upgrade!

Bought it to install a backup camera. The picture quality is good. The phone works fine both plugged into USB and through Bluetooth. Good quality sound

Overall happy with the device but this has trouble with apple play once in a while.

Its a good radio but wish they added a lot more customization to the menu other than just a few colors.

The radio works great. The only issue i have is that sometimes the mic doesnt work on my phone calls.

It works great but make sure you have the screen facing the correct way. It may seem hard to believe but I originally instead it upside down and backwards and had to go back in and fix it.

The purchase at Best buy was normal. The wiring adapters and connectors and face plate were hard to find. The sony xav 3000 locks up every time I start my car because I have back up camera disabled but the unit still asks for a video feed. I strongly suggest looking at another brand and skipping over this one.

Wish volume button was larger and wish it had more color background options overall great radio

Seems of good, quality build. Wish it had physical knobs like the last generation. Good interface

Everything went as expected love the new radio. The size is good and exerting works well. I was worried that the size would be small and it would not look right. It looks great

I love this deck when it stays attached. Using Android Auto disconnects which kills the music and map. Sometimes every few minutes, sometimes not for hours. Sometimes it will just restart. Sometimes I have to reconnect it.

I am really enjoying my Kenwood system. It's the perfect purchase

I never want to downgrade when I should be upgrading. This didnt have the ports I wanted on the back to tie into my amp. It also lacks a cd/dvd player who knew that was even a thing.... Its essentially a screen. Rms per channel was also very low compared to my older model which was 50 rms per channel. Wasnt for me but im sure soccer moms this might be ok...

everything was good except for the long wait for install, I am guessing it was due to covid 19

Great "radio", easy to sync, fits perfectly in my 10 year old car. Installation was perfect, fast and complete. The technician followed Best Buys COVID protocols and the job was done very neatly.

This is our first touchscreen car radio and we love it!!! Syncing our iPhones was simple and hassle free. Apple Car Play was the selling point. Only con is the USB isn’t on the radio. It’s a cable but we worked around it.
