Apple CarPlay not working

My disappointment comes from the Apple CarPlay not working. I will not purchase another Sony again. I have to pay to have the unit taken out and replaced, Sony not Best Buy are covering that cost.

Great receiver, except for calling issues

Updating the firmware did not help the issue. The call will continue on my phone but the receiver screen becomes unresponsive and the sound/mic stop working.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.STAY AWAY, the Android auto program completely messed up my phone and the unit no longer registers my brand new galaxy s10+ as a supported device. The interface freezes all the time and my phone will restart when it is plugged into android auto. For 500 bucks, i am truly disappointing in the quality and the lack of knowledge of the product from the employees at the store. I had to go to three stores to even find an employee who knew anything about installing radios.

Great Radio with a bad glare

Cant see anything. Purchased antiglare screen protector and did not help either. I read a lots of post with the same issue. Have to check BB return policy on Stereos

Not worth the money

The usb cable is so loose to the point it cant connect to Android carplay. It disconnect every time you hit a tiny bump. Takes for ever to actually load up Android carplay. When trying to connect to Bluetooth it would act as if its a scracthing cd player. You would have to disconnect the phone and reconnect for the Bluetooth to actually work correctly. There is nothing special about this head unit. All you are really buying is just a piece of junk name brand definitely not worth the 350... iam glad this unit is out of stock... high disappointment

It says “no video connection” I don’t know what it’s supposed to be connected to. Install experience at Best Buy was awful too.

Not bright enough.

Bestbuy has this listed as having a capacitive touch while it is actually resistive. The orientation of this head unit in my ‘10 Honda Civic is at a slight angle that washes out the colors of the screen. In addition to that, the screen just isn’t bright enough to see well during the day. All other functions of this device are fine minus the visibility.

CarPlay doesn’t work

Connect it via USB should have done it? Tech told me to avoid this one, should have listened. Swapped for the KENWOOD.

Buy and install somewhere else....

Save the headache and buy somewhere else and get it installed yourself or take somewhere else to get installed. Customer service from the local store is non existent Can't get no one on the phone from the store. JUST SUCKS all around.
