Easy Install, Worth Every Penny!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Worked amazing after I installed it, wiring was straight forward and very easy to understand what was doing what, brackets worked well to mount it, and the unit itself has so many features and capabilities! I wired it myself and did the entire install, never got confused once! The sound quality will depend on your speakers but it is a noticeable upgrade for me by far. The head unit does come with a gps tracker cube that lets you wirelessly connect to Apple Carplay (which is very quick to connect after starting the car) as well as a mic so you can make hands free calls and texts/use Siri features. It does have reverse camera and steering wheel mounted control capabilities but I did not use those as my car isn’t equipped with it and there was no need to add it for my use. Overall VERY happy I decided on this unit, quality is well trusted!

I told the technician, and he blamed my phone and to try to connect other wireless devices to my unit. He kept giving me the runaround so that he didn't help

Great radio and service on my Sony purchase.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I went to Best Buy to purchase a Kenwood stereo with Apple Car Play for my 2012 Camaro and they were out of stock of the radio I wanted. And boy am I glad they were. They sold me on the Sony unit that did everything I was looking for and it was less expensive than the Kenwood. The installation went great. The young man mad sure it fit properly and explained everything he was doing then went over the features and operation of the Sony unit. I am very well pleased with this purchase.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just so disappointed with Sony and Bestbuy for their recommendation for this unit. The resolution is so bad you have to strain to see the screen during the daytime. The backup camera is even worse. The high resolution I have on my 2019 Ram 1500 backup camera location in the rearview mirror blows away my new Sony large screen for the quality of the picture. The other negative is if you have a late-model truck with only two buttons on the steering wheel you will not be able to control the volume. So while you are driving you have to find the tiny + and - to adjust the volume. No an easy task or safe one to do.

Since 6then I've had issues with it freezing up and you can't turn it on or off, the backup camera not working at times, Google not working at times, and several other intermittent issues. I'm really not happy with it.
