It's just OK. Pros: The wireless Android Auto is nice Cons: 1. Phone call quality over bluetooth is really not good 2. Phone call quality over bluetooth on MS Teams calls are complete garbage 3. Can't set favorite radio stations (at least as far as I can tell). Have to toggle through every available station

Android auto was horrible before updating the unit and the app on the phone. Other than that it's a good unit.

I love Sony, but you might have to tweak the mic for voice calls. I am not completely sure if it is just my large truck cab.

We had this unit in our Jeep and liked the quality so much we bought a second for our RV.

Absolutely amazing Head Unit, Very quality and amazing response time. It is a bit pricey but you do get what you pay for and I'll spend every penny again if i need to ever get a new one.

The best experience we've ever had purchasing any electronics! It was because of Alfredo who installed our new car stereo, you folks don't pay him enough, he was quick and very helpful!

The screen is way too dark. It's almost impossible to see if there's any sun outside. There are no brightness options either, so you can't make adjustments. I would definitely not recommend this and intend to have it removed from my vehicle.

Great radio love the sound even with the cheap stock Jeep speakers… and really like the wireless Apple CarPlay hook up

Great product! Workers were very helpful with finding the perfect fit for my car and installed it quickly. Sound and screen are both better than expected!

I had best buy install this in to my Jeep wrangler jk. The installation was great but I'm not totally happy with the product. It can lag and the audio connection can skip at times. It's almost like back in the day where CD players would skip when there is a bump.

Mostly good. Only issue is it not having a logical process to change the radio stations

TLDR: If you need a head unit, you can buy this one, if you want it done right, look elsewhere This is an amazing head unit and I 100% recommend it. What I can not recommend is Best Buy’s shoddy recommend installation parts. All the parts I received seemed to be good quality, however for my car, and I would assume many other cars, the OEM radio has multiple wiring harnesses connected to it, but Best Buy told me I would only need one, plus an adapter for the antenna. What this means is that in order to install the head unit, you would need to cut the factory wiring harness and splice the aftermarket head unit’s wiring into it. In the end I just bought a iDataLink maestro from Crutchfield and they told me what harness I would need to buy for a plug and play install. Ultimately, I installed this head unit and am happy with it, but would recommend that anyone looking for an easy install done right just go to Crutchfield or a professional radio installer instead of going through the hassle of needing to order new parts and return whatever Best Buy sends you.

Very nice! Really enjoy my new Sony car stereo. Replacing the original 2005 Ford unit in my F150 Lariat makes a huge difference. The Bluetooth makes my older Ford seem like new!

The radio is working great!! The geek squad installation is a different story. I went to have it installed and the technician said that I needed all the adapters and kits to install it. I showed him that there was already a radio similar to what was installing in the vehicle already. He insisted I had to buy everything which totaled $196 . I told him I would not buy anything I already had and he was not happy about it. So I ended up going to Underground Sound in Cleveland and they installed it with everything I already had in my vehicle. It did cost me $75 for the install but way better than $196 ! I gave it 2 stars because the radio is great but geek squad did me wrong.

My stereo always displays a message saying "No Paired Phones Found" 6 minutes after turning it on. I could be actively using bluetooth and the message pops up. After resetting the whole unit and rebuilding my bluetooth connection, I contacted Sony and they asked me the same questions 4 times, did not listen to the steps I already took to try and fix it, and deferred blame to the installation. Nobody who knew what they were talking about was available to look into the matter, and I wasted 90 minutes with their customer service team. I would NOT recommend any sony products at this point. They do not believe in taking care of their own problems.

Terrible Installation. I spent over $525 to order plugs to make this $400 radio work in my expedition. Then had to pay for the ability to program the module to work with the car and the radio !!!!

great audio quality, I like the physical buttons and it connects over bluetooth to both android auto and apple carplay phones easily

Listen to the reviews, Its a great headunit that sounds good and has lots of features but it absolutely suffers from connectivity issues. Its fine most of the time but can become very irritating. Just save your money for a nicer one.
