What a great experience! They did a fantastic job and when they asked my opinion and also went thru all the features of the radio,Sirius tuner and backup camera. They were very attentive to explain everything to my wife and I Couldn’t be more happy!

I am a SONY GIRL ONLY! Problems: •It disconnects completely from the car Bluetooth, won’t reconnect, and I have to completely stop my car- shut it off- and restart it to get it to connect ( AT LEAST 2x a week since May). I will try to connect by cord- this works sometimes. •The screen with google maps while driving will go completely black or stop showing a highlighted route. This also requires stopping the car, shutting it off, and restarting it. This is 1-2x/week. •Volume randomly fluctuates without adjustment by me •Will not let me connect just blue tooth- I have trouble shorted all of my connection with Sony website and it requires car play every time. I had a previous Sony car stereo that I wish I could have put in this car but it was too small. I am so disappointed in this product (or the installation job- my back up camera is completely dark and I did go back to the Parker Colorado store and I was told it was because I had a factory camera and would need to buy a new one. No one ever in the process of purchase or install it ever told me that. The product is not good.

The display is probably the most disappointing thing about this receiver. It’s ridiculously hard to see it if there is any sun light on it, and it’s not nearly as responsive as other, cheaper receivers are that I’ve owned. If I could go back and choose a different unit, I would.

My old car now has new technology and it has made my life less complicated, especially since I drive 60 miles a day to work and back.

I just think the touch screen isn't very sensitive and for what you pay you don't exactly get top quality. The sound is good. I wouldn't say great.

I made an appointment online when purchased the head unit and backup camera. for the head unit. Apparently the system didn’t block off enough time for the installer to get both things done. So I made another appointment to weeks later to bring the truck back for the camera install. The appointment was the first of the day as they don’t open until 10:00am. I was a little late arriving to the 2nd appointment, I arrived at 10:25am planning to leave my truck for the day. The installer informed me that I was late and because of that I couldn’t get it done that day. I also offered to leave the truck for as long as possible because I already arranged a ride to drop it off but that was still a hard no. I ended up making another appointment at a different Best Buy for the following Monday to try to get this done.

Should be able to hear radio while volume setting is at 7 or 8, you have to turn the volume setting up to 28-35 in order to hear quality of music

Anti-glare screen is dull and foggy looking, but still has the same (even worse) visibility than other glossy screens. Sigh, so frustrating finding a monitor head upgrade that is visible and has less glare

The AX4000 has dimmer function that adjusts the brightness level of the display and buttons. You can adjust the values in the System settings of the device.
