This is a good receiver for the price. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles of the more expensive models, but it doesn't have the higher price either. Set up is straight forward and easy with the microphone at the listening location which auto balances the speaker levels.

This item was very easy to set up. My previous receiver was 6 years old. I was very impressed with the sound coming out of all the speakers, especially the subtleties of the rear speakers. It also allowed me to hook up,2 subwoofers which help balance the load of intense sound.

Bought this receiver to manage my surround sound, tv, htpc, and ps4. Overall it's working great. It's paired with Sony bookshelf speakers and in-ceiling speakers. For the price, the quality and overall ease of use I couldn't be happier. Sony hits another home run for me.

Very easy to use. I use this in a 700sq ft apt/condo and it gives me all the power I need. Enough to upset the neighbors if I want. It was very easy to set up as it comes with an auto sound adjustment for those who are not that savvy with that stuff.

This is my third Sony AV unit in fifteen years and they keep getting better and simpler to deal with as an installation. It has good features in terms of sound and is a really nice adjunct to my recent TV upgrade.

Good basic unit, it was a replacement for an old sony

This receiver is so easy to setup! It has plenty of hookups and I like the IPhone control jack as well the remote will control songs as well. The setup mic is also a nice feature. Plenty of power and has hookups for 2 subwoofers. Well worth the money!
