Really great receiver, the sound from it is worth at least 3x the price, easy setup and use.

I bought this unit as I needed something to replace an older receiver that stopped working. At the time it was on sale and BB matched the amazon price so I received an additional $10 off at $140-$150 it's worth the cost...at $249 I'd look for other options. If you need a basic receiver this will do, but if you want a few more bells and whistles go with a different unit.

I bought this because my device quantity outgrew my inputs on the TV. I thought of a HDMI switch, but liked the idea of combining HDMI inputs and video passthrough. This was on sale when I got it and so far it's been performing great. I don't push he volume very high, so I cannot comment on max volume or clarity, but works fine for my needs.

We bought this receiver when our old one died. It was a very good purchase, it has remote control, and we expect it should last a long time, as our old unit did!

Driving a 5/1 system in an 11' x 8-1/2' office that should be in a 20 x 30. Total overkill. Works well with optical cable from Computer

This Audio Visual Home Theatre system is a great value and is easy to hook up and use.

This equipment was purchased mainly to improve the sound on my tv,, and for this it does a good job. How ever it also sounds fairly good for just listening to music.. the Sony speakers and receiver are very good quality products in my opinion, but I didn't choose the highest end you can get more expensive models, but this is very adequate for my needs.

I got this for my basement (kids room) tv&stereo . i got it on sale for $199 the first one I got, didn't work after I got home, unboxed and hooked up. After looking at it , I saw a small dent (maybe it was dropped) I returned for a quick exchange. The new one worked perfect . My little one can hook in her Ipad and dance till her heart is content. Make sure to set up the speakers using the supplied microphone.

I’m of a “certain age”. Too old to be strictly streaming, too young to be strictly vinyl and cassettes. As one with a foot in both worlds, I needed an AV receiver capable of integrating a diverse set of media. This Sony fit the bill great. Even the inputs’ names are reprogrammable. Once I figure out how to get my speakers wired to where I want them, it’ll be perfect. Lots of options.
