This is exactly what I was looking for. I read the reviews and reviewed the photos to make sure it would hook up appropriately with my new home's wired in speakers. The price is excellent for a Sony product too.

Way better receiver then the sony 7.2 I like this one way better I bought two of them. Tulsa Hills BestBuy needs work on there customer service skills and maybe learn how to deal with some one with a hearing disability.

I did not want to spend a lot of money but wanted surround sound. This had what I needed plus IPhone connectivity and a microphone to balance the surround with out needing to futz with it.

The Sony receiver is all that I expected it to be.

Needed to replace a bad H/T Receiver and this one was exactly what I needed. Easy to connect with manual on line so all operational instructions will be there. Very satisfied with performance and Price was right.

I am very pleased with the receiver, lots of power and it (the remote) made operation of my home theater system much easier as I have other Sony components. I can really hear and see the HD much better than before.

We needed to replace ours and love this product. Our old one in our RV was a Craig and the tech that helped us was very informative and helped us pick the right product that we needed to replace our existing one

Not all the input/outputs worked on first unit purchased. This one works fine. Better manual or directions for set up would be helpful and scenarios (TV, phono, DVD etc)

Went in to upgrade my home theatre system and was recommended this by an associate according to my needs. I am not regretting it, this thing is great, especially for the sale price I got it for.

Excellent sound, good amplifier, with a solid, clean sounding power supply, running ceiling speaker, really sounds nice. Has a 2 speaker mode, which packs a nice punch. Great sound for the price.

I mean it's a Sony so the sound is fantastic of course. It was easy to setup but a little complicated to operate. Light was a little too dim but other than that it basically does what you need it to do.

Replacing a 25 year old receiver due to a lack of digital inputs (old receiver is still going stong!). Quick setup and great sound. More than I could ask for in a budget receiver for a home theater setup.

I had to replace my receiver of 8 yrs. I read about several receivers and decided on the Sony725w 5.2 channel. This works better than my old one. I would recommend this to anyone. Excellent product.

Really like the onscreen display to set up sound and tone. (3.1 mode) Simple yet beautiful styling. Opt for TV hdmi inputs. Don't need the receiver to auto turn on when I use my computer or non-amped DVD.

I go this receiver to update my 12 year old receiver, this works great I wish I would have gotten the blue tooth one. But other than that, I cant complain. Works well and sound is awesome.

This was an upgrade for my 15+ year old receiver and it works great. It has HD pass through, not 4K, which is perfect for my non-4K setup and plenty of simple features that make this easy to use.

Sony did good with the balance between cost and quality on this product. Sounds so good either with a movie, FM or listening to our CD's. Easy to setup and compact size to.

My old unit quit and I needed a new old. This Sony does everything I wanted and for a fraction of the price. Works great right out of the box no problems at all. Worth a look if you are in the market.
